17//Save Me

It's been a couple hours now and the sun had finally set. I was still in the Grill, oblivious of what my mother and Esther were planning. I decided not to mention it to Kol because I know him. He would want to search for my mother until he gets his hands around her neck. I couldn't let that happen. After all these things that she has done to me, she is still my mother.

Kol and Klaus sat at the bar, drinking their way half of the liquor supply. I noticed that Kol kept his eyes on me as I played several rounds of pool with Meredith, Klaus doing the same before Caroline walked in, looking at Alaric before walking towards the bar. I see Kol and Klaus begin talking so I decided to listen in. I wasn't sure what was happening or what they were planning but I had a gut feeling that is was not going to be good.

"I remember her from last night," Kol says.

"Say another word, and I'll tear out your liver." Caroline gets closer to the brothers. "Caroline," Klaus says.

"Oh, it's you," She says.

"Join us for a drink," Klaus asks.

"Mm, I'd rather die of thirst, but thanks." Caroline and I would really good friends if I wasn't with Kol. Cause I know everyone wants to see Klaus dead and Klaus kinda saved my life when I was daggered by my back-stabbing friend, Damon. I see Caroline turn away and walk away.

"Isn't she stunning?" Klaus ask.

"She certainly looks good walking away from you. But not as much as Eleanor." Kol says, looking over at me, knowing I was listening to their conversation. He smirk and a blush drives up in my cheeks.

"I'll take that as a challenge," Klaus says, standing up and walking out, following Caroline. Kol looks at me before I turn back to the game.

"So that was Klaus." I nod my head. I have been telling her about my association with all this vampire/original drama. "And the one at the bar is Kol." I nod. "Your...boyfriend?"

"Yeah," I say, getting ready to hit the white ball. (if incorrect, sorry. Don't know much about pool.) Kol walks over to us where Meredith backs up. I turn around and see that my face was only inches from Kol.

"Talking about me, are we?" He says.

"Not anymore," I say, sending him a fake smile.

"Ouch. That hurt," He says. He looks at Meredith. "A woman of your caliber ought to choose more suitable company. What's your name, love?" I gasp.

"Oh, so I'm not 'suitable company'." He looks at me. "Now I'm hurt." I slam the pool stick on the table and walk away to the back ally way.

"Give me a sec, would you love?" I overheard. I scoff and began walking up the stairs before I hear the door open and close. I turn around and see no one so I turn back before I gasp as I see Kol standing in front of me.
