Two days until the party. I'm going shopping today for a swim suit since its a pool party and I haven't gone swimming since I was eight. I rode my skateboard to the mall and walked into a store called 'Sporty Teens'. There were racks full of sweatshirts and t-shirts. There was also some sports gear near the back. The swimming suits were next to the side window. There were tons of different colors of bathing suits. Some of them looked like just a string. I thought a bikini would be too cliche and I thought it would show off too much skin. I have really pail skin, so I decided to go with a plain black one piece. I also bought a pair of neon purple flip flops.
When I got home, I put my swimsuit and my flip flops in my closet, ready for Friday. Hunter called my phone while I was at the mall, but I left my phone at home. I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up. Hunter didn't answer. I tried calling again.......no answer. A few minutes later something hit my window and startled me. I opened the window and the first thing I see is Hunter standing out in my driveway next to his blue truck. I yelled and said I would be down in a minute. I practically ran down the steps. I shouted to grandpa that I would be back in an hour or two.
When I got outside Hunter hugged me. I felt safe. Hunter was a lot taller than me and practically had his chin on my head.
"We are going to go out on the town tonight Ruby, Steven is sick or else he would have come." Hunter said as he got in the truck.
"What did you have in mind" I asked him.
"Only one of your favorite things in the world, your gonna need your skateboard." Hunter said with a smirk.
