Reaching my home I enter and see Maria sitting there, staring off into space.
"Hey Maria." I said with a small smile. She continued to just stare off into space, stroking what I now saw was her bunny. "Maria?" I ask, and she jumps suddenly, just noticing me standing there.
"Oh, Isabelle your home! Uncle wanted to see you in his study." I just gave a small nod of acknowledgement before heading to the study.
Walking down the familiarly spacious cold halls, Wrolf walks by me as if I didn't exist, I suppose he's a dog, I shouldn't get to upset that he doesn't look at me. Reaching Uncle Benjamin's study I open the door and slide in. Uncle was sitting at his desk, intensely scribbling on some documents. I clear my throat and he looks up, seemingly surprised by my sudden appearance. People are really spacing out today, aren't they?
"You wanted to see me? "I question and he gives a slight nod, gesturing for me to come closer. When I stood directly in front of his desk he began to speak.
"You know don't you?" I look at him confused.
"What?" He sighed and looked down at his hands. looking back up at me he spoke again.
"You know now... about the history of this land." Understanding I slowly nod my head, unsure where he was going with this.
"Then you will now know how dangerous things are for Maria."
Wait, what?
"She must stay away from the woods, for her safety." I don't say anything. "Isabelle, you have to understand how important this is. She must stay from the woods and she must not learn the truth." I nod again. That seems to satisfy him because he looks back down and continues his work. I back out the door then turn and quickly go to my room flopping down on the bed.
The stars on my ceiling are scarce. With surprise I watch one twinkle brighter then the others. Suddenly it shoots from the ceiling like a shooting star, disappearing from view. And I never noticed this before, how? Sighing I open my balcony doors and let the cool night air envelope me in a comforting embrace.
How did things get like this? One girl finds her way to our manor and then she becomes the center of attention. The main focus of their lives. Even the people that want her dead devote themselves to her.
I'm not sure how long I stood there, staring out at the beautiful valley, before I finally returned to my bed and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Groggily opening my eyes like any other normal person I reach out groping around for my normal breakfast, only to find it wasn't there. Turning my head I see the normal spot that held the ginger bread and milk, but it was indeed empty. There was in fact, no food anywhere. My stomach rumbled and I groaned, grabbing a black and black leather pants along with my black combat boots and I was off, down the stairs to answer my stomachs cry for food.Reaching the dining room no one seems to acknowledge my presence except Miss. Heliotrope who quickly looks away, unable to lay her eyes on my "horrid" clothes. Deciding there was nothing on the table I wanted, I made my way to the short kitchen door, opening it to find Marmaduke rushing around at his new found pace. He continued to wiz around, clearly not noticing me either, am I invisible or something? As if reading my thoughts he whipped around and looked at me, freezing in place with a grin.
"Izzy my girl! What brings you to my kitchen on this fine day?" I couldn't help but smile. Something about this man just wouldn't let you bring down the mood and your troubles where always dropped there and then.
