Shaylie’s POV
I had finished reading Harry’s third entry quickly which gave me more time to read the next one. I was pretty happy about that seeing as I loved reading Harry’s entries. It was interesting to know what his life was really like before One Direction. I mean, let’s be honest. These aren’t the kind of events that you’d publicly reveal. It was weird knowing that I was probably the one person that had no connection to Harry that knows all of this. Actually, it’s just amazing really.
I admit there have been times when I just want to skip to the end and find out why Harry committed suicide, but I knew that’s probably not what he would want and if I did read everything I would have a better understanding of everything. So here I am, reading it like a real book. Entry by entry. Page by page. Hopefully everything will make sense in the end.
I hadn’t even had Harry’s diary a day yet there was one thought floating around in my head. Harry said he wanted the person who found his diary to be the only one to read it and know what happened. But was that really a good idea? Didn’t his family and friends deserve to know? And if I did show it to anyone else what would I say? ‘Oh, this is just Harry Style’s diary with all of his secrets. I found it in the woods.’ People would think I’m crazy!
I knew I didn’t have to make a decision yet. There were still plenty of entries left before I had to make the decision of betraying Harry’s written word or not. I can think about it later.
September 4, 2009
School started today and it was, well, weird. Somehow everyone managed to find out what happened between Daniella and I. Some people said it made me more “attractive.” I wasn’t sure if I believed them or not, but it still boosted my confidence a bit.
After first period a girl came up to me. I could tell she was chatting me up.
“Hi Harry,” she said. I still didn’t know who she was.
“Uh, hi. D-do I know you?” I asked, stuttering. Who ever this girl was she was attractive. Like, really sexy to be honest. She looked like she could be a model even though she couldn’t be that old.
“No not really, but I’m Thalia. We were in the same class in year six, remember?”
I wracked my brain, but I couldn’t remember this girl at all. Year six was awhile ago. I could barely remember parts of last week yet alone year six.
“Uh, yeah,” I lied.
“So Harry,” she said, her voice sending tingles through me, “I was wondering if you want to hang out after school?”
I thought about her preposition. I hadn’t been around any girls other than my mom and sister since Daniella left. I guess I can’t hold onto the past forever, so I went with it.
“Sure,” I replied sweetly.
“Great! Meet me by the tall oak tree outside after school,” she said. I nodded and watched as she walked off swiftly in the opposite direction.
Throughout the day news spread about me hanging out with Thalia and four other girls had come up to me. What was the big deal anyway? Not that I was complaining. Before I felt like a weird, average boy and now I was popular.
After school I met Thalia by the oak tree.
“Hey Harry,” Thalia greeted me sweetly. She smiled and rubbed up and down my arm. Um, not the most comfortable form of contact.
“Hey,” I replied back.
“So,” she started, “want to come over to my house?”
“Yeah, sure.” I shrugged. I knew Gemma wouldn’t care if I was home a little later, she probably wouldn’t even notice. And mom was still working so I was fine.
Thalia smiled widely and took hold of my wrist. She guided me to her house in a neighborhood near the school. It was a nice, spacious house with maroon siding and white trimming. It did slightly remind me of a barn though. Nevertheless, it was nice.
“Here we are,” she said proudly. I just smiled and nodded.
Thalia pulled me inside and we went straight upstairs. From the quick glimpse I got, nobody else was home.
She led me down the hallway and to a door that I was assuming was her bedroom. We entered and I set down my backpack and kicked off my shoes before cautiously sitting down on her bed.
“So, what do you want to do?” I asked her. She smirked before closing the distance between us. Her lips moved against my frozen ones. I was shocked by her actions, but I soon recovered. I thought she wanted to study or something, not do this. But I started kissing her back eventually.
She broke our kiss suddenly and grabbed my shirt, pulling it over my head. I couldn’t say anything. I was truly speechless. But it was free sex. What could I say?
“Harry, your body is amazing,” Thalia said, admiring my shirtless torso.
“Yours isn’t too bad either,” I smirked before taking the hem of her shirt and pulling it over her head.
In then end, that was the third best time of my life. Thalia couldn’t compare to Daniella, but the good is, we didn’t get caught this time.
AN: Hi everyone! I hope you liked this chapter! This is actually the last chapter from the original version by NiallsMyIrishMan. So I guess the rest is up to me now. No pressure haha! Don’t worry, this book will continue to be awesome if I have anything to do with it!
Stay beautiful,
