YOUR POV
You sat in a small cafe, with your study notes in front of you. When it came to studying, you were the worst. Most of the time you would find yourself sleeping and eating everything in your apartment. You sighed before banging your head on the table. You did it again. And again.
The lady at the counter looked at you with pity. You smiled sheepishly before pulling your hair back. You looked down at the papers in front of you, before shaking your head and tilting your head upwards. Closing your eyes, you tried to relax. A few minutes passed, and everything was peaceful and quiet.
And that's when mother nature decides to strike. No, not your period. Just soft taps against the roof and windows. Your eyes snapped open in shock, and you snapped your head to the side, staring out of the shop and onto the streets. Indeed, it was raining. And you did not bring an umbrella. You groaned and slapped yourself on the forehead.
"Great moves, y/n" You mumbled to yourself, before chucking down the rest of your coffee and packing everything in your school bag. Swinging your bag over your shoulder, you gave the lady a wave before stepping out of the door, into the rain. Thinking that you should hurry up and get home before the rain gets bigger, you hurried down the empty streets.
Your boots splashed in the puddles on the ground. You scrunched up your face when some got your jeans wet. You thought the rain would've stopped by now, but nature has other ideas.
"Such great bloody weather" you said through gritted teeth. The rain kept getting bigger, like it had no intention of stopping for a decade or so. Giving up, you decided to stop at a bus stop.
You ran your fingers through your wet and tangled hair, feeling frustrated as ever. The bus stop shelter didn't help at all, it was windy at the same time, so the rain kept hitting you. You decided to wait for the rain to stop.
THOMAS'S POV
I was on my way back to my house, from the supermarket. It was pouring down too. But luckily, I brought an umbrella. And you must be thinking, who the hell goes to the supermarket in this weather. But a man needs his groceries. I kept walking, until a small bus stop came into view. But that wasn't what got my attention. There was a girl, standing under the shelter, drenched from the rain.
I scrunched my face up before hurrying over to her. She saw my running and gave me a weird look. I smiled and held the umbrella over her head.
"Look if you're here to kidnap me or to take me money, I have a ten dollar note in my bag, which is probably all wet and ruined by now, you can take it" She crossed her arms over her chest.
I chuckled before shaking me head.
"Is trying to be kind the same as kidnapping?" I raised an eyebrow and smirked. She bit back a smile, before letting out a laugh.
"Well then, why thank you, young gentleman" she mocked a posh voice.
We both started laughing.
"Come on, I'll walk you home" I offered. She smiled before leading the way.
"Well then how do I know that you aren't going to kill me in my own house?" she joked.
"The only thing I have got on me are groceries. I don't think I can kill with apples or white bread" I raised my eyebrow at her.
We continued to joke around until we got to her apartment. To my surprise, I didn't want to leave her.
"Well, this is it." I shrugged my shoulders, as we walked into the first level of the building.
"No. Freaking. Way. You're stuck with me, Thomas" She smiled, before pulling me towards the elevator.
