Chapter 6

Chapter 7 (New Waters)

"What?" I said annoyed.

"Fine. We are taking you to our favorite skate park." Drew said. "It's by the beach, so we can just walk."

"Here." Wes said handing me a board. "It's my old one."

"It doesn't look too old."

"Eh," He said shrugging his shoulders. "it's all right."

"Is Keaton coming?"

"Nope. He's staying home today."

"Okay."

"Yeah I think he's still asleep." I nodded. We went down to the street and skate boarded there. Since they were really good, it was hard to keep up, but it was fun.

When we got there, we went up and down the ramps and stuff. They also taught me a few tricks until two other guys came in.

"Hey." Drew said.

"What's up." One of the said. He had long blonde hair and a SnapBack on. The thing that I noticed though were his blue eyes. I couldn't Help but think they were lovely. The other guy had dark hair that was spiked to the front and deep brown eyes that were also nice to look at.

"Hey bro." The brown haired one said to Drew.

"Who's this?" The blonde one asked as he came up to me. He was a tad taller then me, maybe like Keaton's height.

"I'm Bella Taylor." I said.

"Oh I'm Ryan Streeter. But just call me Streeter cause this dude is also Ryan." He said pointing at the other guy.

"Yeah, I'm Ryan." The brown haired one said.

"Cool."

"These are our skating friends." Wes said.

"Yeah. So Bella, show us what you got." Streeter said. I nodded and went to a ramp and started there. I slid down it and then grinned off a bench and met back with the boys.

"Damn your pretty good. Not many girls here skate like that. Wanna be my girl?" Ryan asked.

"Nope. She's Wes'." Drew said before I could say anything.

Wes threw an arm around my shoulder and squeezed it lightly and pulled me closer. "Yeah. She's all mine." He said looking at me.

I got out of his embrace. "Ha in your dreams." I said.

"Obviously she's not." Streeter said.

"She's getting there." Wes said and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and began to practice a few tricks the boys taught me. I also hung out a bit with Streeter and Ryan. They're cool guys and I like them, so In the end I got both their numbers and said I would hang out with them. I guess I felt slightly guilty because I was kinda seeing Chase, but I shook it off. Chase and I weren't and we haven't really hung out lately, but I did have a date scheduled with him later tonight.

Soon the boys finally got tired and we all went to lunch, then they took me home. The car drive was quiet, but I didn't mind. I was very tired. Finally Drew broke the silence.

"Hey Bella. We've got another show on Friday, wanna join?" Drew asked.

"We've been getting many complements on you and our management asked if you wanted to keep doing local gigs with us."

"That would be awesome. I'd love to." I said.

"Awesome. I'll call them." Drew said. When we drove into the parking lot of the apartment, the boys got out and walked me up, and i opened up the door to the apartment. Then, I gave them both huge hugs.

"Thanks so much.You guys are the best." I said. "I love you both."

"Awe we love you too Bella." Wes said as he picked me up by the waist and Drew by my legs.

"Guys?" I asked. "Oh no." they started swinging me back and forth and thew me on one of the couches laughing.

"Oh that is not funny." I said angry.

"Yeah it was. Remember when we used to do that in Sequim?" Wes asked.

"Yes and it was never fair because Ally and I couldn't lift you up and swing you easily." I said.

They laughed. "That's why we always did it, cause you could never get us back." Wes said.

"Ha ha real funny guys. I may not be able to pick you two up, but I'll get revenge."

"Sure Taylor." Wes said.

"Yep, now get out of my house. I gotta get ready." I told them.

"Date with Chase?" Drew asked

"Yeah. He's takin me somewhere tonight."

"I thought you hated surprises?" Wes asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "Oh. Bella, whatever happens, don't let him change you."

"Got it. Thanks guys." I said giving them hugs. They left an I went to my room to change. It was about 3:00 and Chase was picking me up at 5:00. I guess there was no hurry, the boys could have stayed longer, but whatever. I decided to find an outfit. He told me something casual and warm. I picked through many clothes and tried on many outfits, but ended up in a red sleeveless chiffon top with a black tank top under it. I threw on dark wash skinnys with them and my favorite flip flops with my dark brown bag. I threw my wallet an iPhone in the bag and did make up. I put a light shade of brown on my eyes and pink lip gloss. I also straightened my hair. I looked in my full length mirror when i was finished. It was definitely a more mature look. Different from my usual hoodies, tank tops, and graphic tees. Getting ready took longer then I thought, so I had like a half hour, because I couldn't pick an outfit.

I wandered into the kitchen and grabbed a cup of yoghurt and flopped on the couch. I grabbed the remote and flipped through channels. It had been a while since I have watched tv, but my relaxation ended shortly when Ally came through the door.

"What up?" She yelled at me flopping down next to me.

"Chillin." I answered.

"Sweet, why the change of outfit?"

"Date."

"Ha I knew it would happen. Matt owes me 20 dollars. I knew you'd go out with Wes." She yelled throwing her hands in the air letting out a victory scream.

"Not Wes." I said rolling my eyes.

"Chase."

"What? Who the hell is Chase?" She said stopping her victory party.

"I met him surfing and he's taking me out tonight."

"Oh shit I wanted that 20 dollars."

"Wow. You don't have to Care about your best friend's first date in California. No big deal."

"No. I'm happy for you. It's gonna be you're first real date since Hunter. I'm happy for you." After Hunter, I had gone on a few dates, but those were mostly just to get him angry.

"Thanks." I said giving her a hug." I heard our door bell ring and I got up.

"That's him. Everyone else just walks in."

"Gentleman. Nice." Ally yelled as I went to the door. I was excited I was moving on and it was a surprise date and I was excited. Excited to try new waters and to get to know Chase better.
