Chapter 7

Sorry it took me so fucking long to update. I'm really unsure about this story and if its good or not, so comment what ya think. id love to read them.

I opened the door and I saw Chase standing there. He was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. "Hey." He said pulling me into a hug.

"Hi." I said accepting his hug. It was warm, sweet, and inviting. Once we pulled away, I lead him into my apartment. "This is my best friend Ally." I said showing him to the couch.

"Hey, I'm Chase."

"Sweet, Bella was just talking about you." I slapped her arm. Signaling for her to shut up. "I mean she had never said anything. I've never heard of you before." She said. I face planed myself.

"Okay, we are leaving before you can embarrass me more." I said leading Chase away from Ally. We went down to his car and he opened the door for me. It was a sweet gesture and I appreciated it.

"So where are we goin?" I asked.

"To a concert on the beach. I have a friend in the band, so he got us backstage." He said.

"That sounds great. What genre do they sing?"

"They do alternative."

"Sweet." I said. The drive to the beach wasn't long, so we didn't have time to chat too much. When we got there, we went straight back stage. I met his friend who was named Eli. He seamed pretty chill and was really nice. I met the other band members who were Andy, Bryan, and Zack. They were about my age and a bit older, and they all seamed like nice guys. Soon though, the concert started and I watched from backstage with Chase. They were pretty good, but most of their songs were more popish rockish then alternative, but that didn't really matter. When they were done, we chatted with them for a while, until they had to go. Afterward, we decided to take a walk on the Pier. When we got to the end, I gripped the rails and looked down at the water.

"So how did you like it?" Chase asked.

"Oh they were great." I really liked them.

"Sweet."

"Yeah." I felt a breeze hit me, it chilled me and Chase seamed to notice.

"Here." He said walking behind me and wrapping his jacket around my shoulders.

"Thanks." I said turning around so I'd face him.

"No problem."

"No, thanks for tonight it was great. It helped me get my mind away from a lot of things."

"You're welcome." I warped my arms around his neck and his went around my waist. It was a nice hug, and it was comforting. I Leaned out to a distance where I was able to look at him. He did the same, but then I saw him lean in slowly. I knew he was gonna kiss me. It was a bit too predictable. I didn't want to kiss him back, it was a rule that I made. Never kiss a guy on the first date. I didn't know what to do, most guys didn't even try on the first date. Many ideas were running through my mind and his lips were slowly moving to mine. I saw his closed eyes and was about to give in when my phone started ringing.

"Thank god." I thought. I leaned out and saw that it was Keaton. "Sorry one minuet." I said to Chase walking away a few feet before answering the call. "Keats. I'm on a date."

"I know. I wanted to tell you something." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"Hi." He said.

"What? You called me to say hi?"

"Wes told me to."

"Tell him to get a life." I said and hung up. I went back to Chase and stood next to him.

"Hey I'm sorry. My mom wants me home right now." I lied. I just wanted to get away at the moment. It had become a tad awkward for me.

"Okay, do you need me to drive you home?"

"Yes please." I said.

"okay." The drive home was short and I told Him he didn't need to walk we in. He opened my door for me though and gave me a peck on the cheek. I smiled at him.

"Much better." I said. He smiled back. I started walking when I tripped over a curb. "shit."

"Oh are you alright?"

"Yeah fine. Thanks." I said as I used his hand to balance me. "Again, thanks it was a wonderful night."

"No problem, I guess we should hang out more often." I said as I walked into the building. When I got up, everyone was still up, so I just changed into shorts and a tee shirt and joined them on the couch. My mom left to bed soon, and Matt went to his room to play XBox, so it was Ally and I.

"Why were you back so early?" She asked.

"Well, he tried to kiss me and I felt a tad uncomfortable, so I said mom needed me home."

"Oh, nice."

"Yeah, but everything else was amazing. He took me to a beach concert and all. It was pretty sick."

"Yeah, well you sound happy. So is he a keeper?"

"I don't know. I don't know him super well yet."

"Oh well Wes is still an option." She said reminding me of her annoying side.

"Oh shut up bitch."

She laughed. "It could happen, and I could also be 20 dollars richer."

"Whatever." I said. I went to my room and grabbed a blanket and joined Ally back on the couch. We ate ice cream and watched stupid reality shows until I started to nod off.

Shortish chapter but I'll try to update as much as possible but with school and all, I don't know.
