Chapter 16 (Disappointments)

"Bella?" He asked back.

"What the hell?" I asked. I started running down a few hallways so I could get away. I kept running until I couldn't run anymore because the alcohol was preventing me. I felt him behind me, though.

"So it is you?" He asked. I still didn't turn around. I didn't want to see him of talk to him. He had broken me to pieces and I don't talk to bitches like that.

"Yes. Are you Hunter?" I asked without turning. I almost shot myself asking that question, but my curiosity got the better of me.

"Yeah." At that moment all the memories came back. Him in the corner of that room. Lips glued to some other chick. The sadness I felt when I saw that. All rushed back into my mind.

"What are you doing here?" I practically yelled at him.

"You're not the only person who can move to Cali, and I wanted to check on you." He said with a suggestive wink.

"Fuck no! Get out! If you think I'm as easy as I was in high school. You're wrong!" I yelled.

"What if I said I was sorry." He said again with his stupid smirk.

"What if I said I had a boyfriend."

"You have a boyfriend?"

"I thought people would have already seen in interviews and tabloids. Remember Wesley Stromberg, my best friend?" He nodded. "He's my boyfriend." At that moment, I felt an arm around my shoulder and looked up, it was Drew.

"Who the hell are you? You know she's got a boyfriend." Drew said.

"Hunter, and she gladly told me."

"Anyway, I'm gonna go pick up a few more beers and stuff, wanna come?" Drew asked me.

"Sure." We started walking away from Hunter, which I have waited to do for a long time.

"Hey, I'm handing you over to Wes, but I think we're gonna leave, so see ya at the cars in 10 or 15."

"Okay, thanks." I hugged him and he navigated me through a sea of people, until I found Wes was in a crowd of girls. He seamed to be drunk off his ass, and the girls standing around looked being pretty slutty. Seriously, a few girls had no top on, just a bra. I'm pretty sure they were all drunk, but really that's no excuse.

"Hey babe, come here!" Wes yelled over to me in his drunk voice. I walked over and he slid his arm around my shoulder.

"So this is your girlfriend?" Some slut standing next to us asked rudely.

"Yeah I am. Got a problem?" I asked defensively.

"I do actuarially. He's like fucking sexy and you are like a slut." I looked at Wes for a bit of help, cause I'm sure if he was sober, he would have hit her of something, but I had to defend myself.

"Oh god! Look who's talking. I'm mean just go put on a top please." She slapped my face that this time I looked at Wes again, because I'm pretty sure it was hard enough for a hand print. He wasn't doing anything. I knew he was drunk and all, but really I'm his girlfriend and I'm being attacked by a crazy prostitute.

I slapped her back and ran off outside. I was furious at everything, at seeing Hunter, and the stupid slut, but especially at Wes. First off, he shouldn't be that drunk, and when he told me he could handle those drinks, I thought our idea of handle was the same. He also didn't defend me when that crazy ass bitch insulted me and slapped me. When I reached the cars, everyone but Wes was there.
