Chapter 15 (Bacon, the Bay, and familiar faces)

When I woke up I was in the living room at Laraine's and Wes was sleeping next to me. I quietly got out because I smelled bacon. Wes noticed and got up too.

"I smell bacon." He said.

I laughed. "Yeah that's why I'm getting up so quickly." He laughed and we both exited the living room.

"Good morning." My mom said As she saw us walk out. She knew why we were up, so she just answered our question. "Oh by the way there's one piece of bacon left so yeah." I looked at Wes and he looked back at me. It was gonna be a fight to get their first like the ones we used to have in Sequim.

I used to basically live in their house, and Wes and I were the ones who slept in the latest, so we always had to fight for the food at the end. Sometimes he'd win because he was the fastest and strongest, sometimes I'd win because I would kick him in the nuts.

This time, we both took of running to the kitchen. We couldn't find bacon in there, but we found a tired Ally and Carly. "We hid the bacon so it would be more fun." Ally said.

"Inside or out?" Wes asked.

"Both." Carly said smiling.

"Do you feel like an animal chasing after a prize or something?" I asked Wes. He nodded and ran outside. I stayed in the kitchen looking around.

"Hey, Bella, I have it right here." Carly whispered to me handing me the bacon.

"Sweet." I got up and sat on the counter and crossed my legs and waited for Wes to come in. He came in a few seconds later and saw me with the bacon.

"Hey, babe. Guess what I got?" I asked sarcastically and sweetly.

"Oh, Taylor you are gonna pay." He said running toward me. I started eating the bacon and had taken two bites until he picked me up at my thighs and carried me outside. He quickly grabbed the bacon from my hand and threw me into the pool.

"Oh shit Wes. Why the hell would you do that?! Its freezing!" I yelled swimming to the stairs and pulling myself out.

"Man up you stole my bacon." He said.

"You are so lucky that I'm not gonna kick you in the nuts."

"You wouldn't because then we would never be able to have kids." He said smiling. I rolled my eyes and wrapping myself in a towel I found near by. Then, we went inside and sat in a bar stool next to Ally and Carly.

"So where is everyone?" I asked.

"Well the boys all went to my house." Carly said.

"Cool. Ally are you staying here this week?" I asked.

"No just the weekend. Unlike you, some people hold their jobs." She said rolling her eyes.

"Well you would pick a tour over a dumb floor model."

"Eh true." She said.

"So I guess it's me and you and a bunch of crazies." I told Carly.

"Sadly, but we'll have fun."

"Aren't you still in school?"

"I can ditch a few days." She said shrugging.

"Cool." I said. "What are we doing today?" I asked.
