Stiles' pov:
I sat on a stool in Lydia's kitchen, looking through the box entitled "Allison -For Lydia".
Earlier that day:
Lydia had called me and asked me over. She told me that Mr. Argent was coming over with some of Allison's things that she might want. When I arrived, he was already there, talking to Lydia.
"Hi, Stiles. How are you?" Mr. Argent asked.
"I'm okay. How are you?"
"I've been better. Lydia and I were talking and we were thinking about having the funeral in the woods. Allison was always her happiest out there." He smiled at the thought of his little girl using her bow.
"That sounds great. I think she'd want that." I smiled back.
We sat down and discussed the funeral for a bit longer, deciding that Lydia, Scott and I would all speak and that when Lydia went up, she would place Allison's bow on her casket along with a silver arrowhead. Not only was it the last weapon she used, it was also the way she killed an Oni. Something that had never been done before.
"Well, I'm off to Scott's now to give him some things. See you next weekend. Bye you two." He said.
"Bye." Lydia and I said in unison.
When he left, we sat down in the kitchen and opened the box.
"Do you want me to give you some privacy?" I asked.
Lydia grabbed my hand and said "no. You're the person who made me strong enough to do stuff like this. Stay."
I nodded and pulled out a framed photo of her and Allison. Lydia's hair was pinned up in a braided crown along her head and Allison had her's in light curls. They were hugging and smiling at each other, obviously laughing at something. I remember this picture vividly. Allison, Lydia, Scott and I were hanging out after school and we all had a mini 'photoshoot'. I took this picture of them.
"That was a lot of fun, wasn't it?" Lydia laughed.
"Yeah. It was." I replied.
The box had more photos, a CD with their favourite songs, a flower crown that her and Allison had made together and a few other random things that meant the world to Lydia. We thought we were done until we found a worn piece of paper and a small box in the bottom. I picked the box up and Lydia picked the note up.
"What does it say?" I asked.
"Lydia Martin is my best friend, sister, partner in crime and my security in this supernatural town. Simply put, she is half my world. Well, maybe a third. Scott and Stiles can share one of the thirds and I'll be the other third." Lydia paused to giggle at that comment.
"If something is to ever happen to me, I want this letter to go to her. I know it's sad that a 17 year old has to write a death letter, but this is Beacon Hills. You never know what's going to happen. Lydia, if you're reading this, it means that I'm not physically with you, but know that I will always be with you in your heart. I'm gonna do my best to watch over you and all our friends. Please, keep going. Don't let this stop you or take away your strength. You are such a strong woman and I love you. Truly. Also, there should be a box with this letter. It's my favourite necklace. The one I wear everyday, the one you love. It's my birthstone and I want you to wear it. Close to your heart, everyday so that I'm always with you. Don't forget to keep going, Lydia. For me.
Love,
Allison"Lydia let out a soft cry and I wrapped my arms around her, stroking her hair. I reached for the box and held it under her nose.
"Why don't I open it?" I suggested.
She nodded and I removed the lid, revealing a silver chain with a small Aquamarine gem dangling off.
"I still love that necklace." she stated, holding it in her hand.
"I'll put it on." I said as she passed it to me. I put it around her neck and clipped it in the back. She played with the gem, smiling down at it. She looked so peaceful in that moment, I only wished I could live in this moment forever.

Scott's pov:
I go through the box that read "Allison -for Scott". I found pictures, my lacrosse hoodie, Allison's favourite book that she always begged me to read, a teddy bear I gave her and a few other items.
At the bottom of the box, I found a letter from Allison. I picked it up a read the words through my tear filled eyes.
"Scott, where do I begin? I love you so much and all I can do is thank you. You made me feel powerful and like a love struck teenager at the same time. Our love story definitely isn't ordinary, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I truly believe that you are my soulmate, the person I was made to love in this world. You were my first love. If you're reading this, I'm gone, but I want you to move on. Please don't spend your days overthinking my death. It happened and I don't want you to think that it's your fault in anyway because no matter how it happened, I'm sure you couldn't prevent it. Thank you, my love for making this dark town seem a bit brighter. I love you and I'll always be with you in your heart.
Lots of love,
Allison
P.S you better read that book!
P.P.S hold it together at my funeral and keep smiling. Gosh, I love that smile."•
Author's note:
