The Hall

Katz:

We lifted Sly into the Counsel Room, one of the few undamaged and one of the few with a place where we could actually lay him down. I was about to call Caster again when a door formed on the other side of the room and a man walked out carrying Jess in his arms. He looked a bit wobbly as most people do when they walk through a portal door for the first time.

Before I could either blast him or yell at him another man was shoved through the door and fell on his face. Caster leapt over him and dragged him to his feet. "Caster?! Jess?!" I almost screamed at them. The man who was carrying Jess took a deep breath and closed his eyes, the other one rubbed his nose and looked very confused.

"Where's Sly?" Caster asked abruptly and the man holding Jess opened his eyes. For a moment I swear I saw a flash of red, but I shrugged it off. If one of them where here they'd kill us on the spot. I motioned wordlessly to his still body on the table and Caster motioned for the guy to bring Jess over, it was then I noticed her birthmark was red and the red was spreading.

Laurence:

As I walked through the door I was hit with the urge to kill in full force. The amount almost made my knees buckle but I stood strong. I can't give in, I need to help Aphmau. I laid her down on one of the tables as the Chicken Shaman, or Caster grabbed the bag from Garroth and moved over to the other guy.

But wait-did he ask about someone named Sly? Aphmau had asked about someone named Sly right before this all happened. and who was Jess? Caster took out a needle and shoved it into the other guy's arm injecting a liquid. Everyone held their breath but me, I looked down at Aphmau. The blood red spiraling up her arm towards her heart.
