Chapter 1
Childlike giggles echo through the woods, I'm running without a care in the world, I'm happy.
"Aslin, come back it's only a worm, it won't kill you!" Spoke the mysterious dark haired boy.
"No! It's gross and slimy, I don't want to touch the worm!" Squealed Aslin. As I looked behind me, the young dark haired boy stopped running and pouted his bottom lip at me. I started running again but I fell face first into the mud ruining my white dress. The young boy sat next to me, his crystal blue eyes staring deep into my luminous emerald green eyes, almost as if he was staring into my soul.
"Can we make a blood pact?" Asked the young boy, as I stared at him.
"What's a blood pact?" I asked.
"It's a blood promise you can't break" He told me. I smiled and agreed to do so willingly. The boy pulled out a pocketknife, I gasped a little as he put a small cut on his palm he winced slightly.
"Your turn, Aslin" I stretched my hand over to him and he put a small cut on the palm of my hand. Blood oozed out of the small fresh cut, it stung a little.
"Now we push our hands together and you repeat everything I say, okay?" I nodded and put my hand against his and he began to say the promise.
" Forever we shall be best friends," I repeated.
"And nothing will come between us" I repeated his words again.
"Best friends Forever" I repeated again and the word forever began echoing in my head.
My vision began to go blurry and then I woke back in my bedroom. What a strange dream, but it seemed familiar to me, as if I had actually lived what just happened, however, that would be crazy as I didn't have any childhood friends, so I just shook the idea out of my head.
Before leaving I took one more glance at myself in the mirror and with that I left my room and headed off to school.
