A demons kiss

Chapter 7

"Kol come on look at this" I shouted to him, I heard his footsteps slapping the ground as he ran to me.

"What is it Aslin?" He questioned.

"Watch" I told Kol,I focused on a tingling sensation in my chest and I began to feel it root its way through to the surface of every inch of my skin. Kol watched me with confused eyes, then my arms and body began to tingle, a golden hue glowed from my skin. His eyes widened in amazement.

"Aslin how are you doing that" Kol breathed, I stared at him and shrugged the golden hue began to fade and the tingling stopped.

"I don't know I was just sitting and then it happened but I can only do it for a few seconds" I told Kol, started at my arms and then into my eyes and smiled.

His face began to fade and blur and I was awake. I woke with a jerk I was sweating; I looked around at my surroundings. I wasn't in my room or even my house this was someone else house. I rushed through what has previous happened and then I remembered Kol fighting a bear, Kol telling me he was Kol, the young boy from my dreams. I swung my feet around and placed them on the ground. The room I was in was beautiful, White walls, A massive bookcase in the corner of the room and a four post bed that I had been sleeping in. I didn't recognise this place. I heard footsteps come towards the door and the door opened.

Kol stalked into the room and looked at me a smile spread on his face but that was quickly replaced with worry. He cautiously walked toward me, watching me as if I'd make a break for it.

"Aslin are you ok?" He questioned.

"Yeah I'm fine, what happened?" I spoke softly my voice barley a whisper.

"We were attacked by a grizzly and I told you something" Realisation hit and then the whole events of earlier came rushing back to me, Kol told me he was a demon. I wanted to run. He was a demon and what I knew about demons was not exactly pleasing. I scooted of the edge of the bed so that I had distance from Kol and me.

"Stay away from me" I shouted at him I could feel fear bubbling up inside me and I clenched my shaking hands so I could hide my fear from him. Kol smirked at me, his  eyes piercing into mine.

"Do you really think I'm going to hurt you Aslin" He said to me in a husky tone, his smirk only intimidating me more. Kol began to stalk around the bed toward me his eyes never leaving mine; I took a few steps back and stepped back into a wall. Kol was closer to me now and my hairs began to stand on end there was a sliver of air between me and Kol now but all I knew was that I had to escape so I brought up my fist and punched him in the face. Startling Kol I knew I only had a few seconds to run so I ran past him and sprang across the bed. I felt a cold hand wrap around my ankle and drag me back across the bed. I was then slammed against the wall. I could feel Kol's breath on my neck. I looked up into his eyes and boy did he look pissed.

"What was that for?" He questioned me raising an eyebrow. I kept my mouth shut afraid my voice would tremble.

"Aslin you do not have to fear me, I'm not here to harm you I came back to protect you but I need you to hear me out" His eyes pleading with me, I bit my lip nervously and nodded I wanted to hear what he had to say. Kol Guided me to the bed and I sat on the edge of it, he remained standing.

" Alright Aslin those dreams you have been having I know about them because I put them there, those dreams aren't random those are memories I took from you the day I left" He stared at me watching for my reaction but what did he mean memories he took from me how is that even possible.

"What?" I said shyly

" I took the memories from you because you were going to struggle when I left and it was also to protect you" He told me and ran a hand through his hair.

"Protect me?" I questioned

"Yes from Corbin, he is also a demon but he wants to possess you" Kol put his head down and I stared at him in disbelief.

"Why does he want to do that?" I stared at Kol my palms began to sweat and I wiped them on my jeans.

"You are a nephilim, but you have a special power that no other nephilim has and Corbin wants it" My head started to spin and the room began to sway Kol grabbed my hands.

"Aslin stay with me please" Kol's face looked scared and I rubbed my eyes and nodded.

"Why didn't I know this ?" I asked.

" It was to keep you safe, you can still use your power but we need to find the witch I got to hide your power to awaken it" I didn't know why but I knew he wasn't lying and part of me inside knew I should take his offer and he placed his hand on my head and my memories all came back. I stared at Kol and I remember it all but I still did not trust him.

"I want to see this witch" Kol smiled widely at me and I smiled nervously back, it was time to find my old self again.
