Days had gone by and I had heard nothing from Kol. I don't understand what set him off to leave so abruptly the night he saved me. Flash backs of the night kept occurring in my head, what did they mean when they said I wasn't his to take. I wasn't who's to take. Maybe I was over thinking things; maybe I hit my head pretty hard. I also realised my dreams had stopped which was weird they occurred almost everynight. Brushing the thoughts aside I swung out of bed to get ready.
I lightly jogged down stairs and walked out my front door, I stumbled back. Something was blocking my doorway.
"Hey Aslin" He grinned at me as he stroked his chin. I stared blankly at him as I drank in his lean muscular body and those deep crimson eyes.
"Kol" I breathed.
"Last time I checked " He laughed.
"Where have you been?" I questioned him he looked the same and the cut on his eyebrow had healed.
"Around, I'm sorry I left so abruptly that night I had things to do" Kol told me with confidence, I tried to read his expression but it remained like a blank slate nothing slipping through his mask.
"Stuff?" I repeated, Kol grinned at me.
"Look it doesn't matter ok, would you like to come for a ride?" Kol asked me while wearing that grin he always wore; I looked from him to the bike and nodded. As we walked to his bike I heard childlike giggles in my head, I looked around but there was only Kol and I swung onto his bike and slipped on the helmet. Kol kicked the bike into gear and it roared to life and off we went.
After awhile Kol pulled into a forest looking area and switched off the engine, he pushed himself of his bike I did the same.
I looked around me this place was beautiful I never seen a place like it before, I admired its beauty.
"If only I could make you smile like that" Laughed Kol, I smiled at him.
"You barely know me" I grinned. Kol smirked and motioned for me to follow him. After awhile we had traveled through the woods into quite a deep part and we stopped short in front of a bush it looked weathered and dead. Kol leaned over and pushed it aside revealing a burrow hole. This seemed so familiar. Kol climbed down and gave me his hand and helped me down. All I could smell was earth but I couldn't see anything, I could hear Kol's breathing he was close, He struck a match and lit a candle that was sitting on a table.
I blinked several times before I realised where I was, this was from one of my dreams. Kol was watching me carefully as if I might pass out.
"What is this?" I asked shakily.
"You already know that answer Aslin" Kol looked down at his hands.
"My dream. One of my dreams were in here of me and a boy called Kol, I was crying because he was leaving, are you that Kol " I told Kol.
" And I promised you that I would come back" Kol stared at me his crimson eyes piercing into mines.
" That was just a dream, what are you trying to say" I was confused.
"I'm Kol the kid in you're dreams aslin" He replied, and held out his hand and revealed a scar left on his palm and he reached for my hand and turned it over and revealed my scar, where his hand held my skin tingled.
"It can't be," I said to myself.
"The dreams you've been having are memories Aslin but I made you forget
"Just after I left, Me leaving was too hard for you to handle" Before I could reply he put his hands on the temples of my head and flashbacks began, rushes of memories of me and Kol came back to me. Feelings I had for Kol came back.
"Kol" I stood up and before I knew what I was doing I ran. Leaving him behind and I ran deep into the woods. After awhile I stopped and looked around where was I, lost clearly. At the corner of my eye I saw movement I turned and standing before me stood bear, Drool dripping from its mouth, eyes full of rage and teeth snarling. I stood still and it brought up its claw, I closed my eyes but nothing. Kol stood in front of me holding the bears claw and shoved it back. What was with this strength? The bear swiped at kol and swiped his face. Kol winced and I stared at him shaking in fear, I cringed at the gash on the side of his face. My palms began to sweat as I watched the scene unravel. He threw the bear into a tree but the bear stopped moving and Kol turned towards me and walked over. I crawled back from him I was confused and scared.
"Aslin are you ok?" I nodded.
" I have a lot to explain to you" Kol told me. I stared at the gash on his face it was healing.
"Your face" I pointed
" Yeah about that" He smirked.
"What, who are you?" I questioned.
"Cutting it short Aslin, I'm a demon" Kol replied, I felt my head spin and I hit the ground.
