Chapter3
By the time I got home it was dark outside, I walked up my pathway and unlocked the door. I lived alone now, my parents died when I was 14 so I stayed with my Grandmother until I was 17 then eventually, I left and bought my own house. My parents death still haunts me to this day. They had died in a house fire, however, I survived somehow, which is the question everyone asks, as if it was a miracle or as if I had a guardian angle watching over me.
I dumped my bag on the kitchen island and went to the fridge and grabbed a can of coke. I wasn't hungry yet so I headed upstairs to my bedroom. My house was strangely cold it's usually warm but right now it's freezing. In my room I grabbed a towel and went for a quick shower. I ran my hands through my wet hair and closed my eyes and enjoyed the steaming water running over my skin. I got a flash of the hooded guy in my head and I opened my eyes quickly and stumbled back when I saw a black figure on the other side of the glass. He was tall and lean and dressed in all black, I'm sure it was the guy I ran into after school today. My hairs began to stand up on the back of my neck and I turned the water off.
I rubbed my eyes hard but that made my vision flush with loads of blurry colours. So I ran my hand along the glass to find the handle and I opened the door. When my foot hit the tiled floor I almost fell back into shower the floor was freezing cold but I quickly grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me.
"How did you get in here?" I asked, my voice trembling.
"You scared Aslin?" He said calmly too calmly for being an intruder.
"No" I spat back at him, his grin widened.
"You are I can taste it" He eyed me up and down, I felt as if he were undressing me with his eyes.
"What the hell are you on about freak, get the fuck out of my house!" I shouted at him and he pulled his hood down his crimson eyes seemed bright with rage and he grabbed the top of my arms and shook me, his face began to soften.
"Do. You. Remember. Me?" He said each word separately. I couldn't focus, the pain in my arms from his grip it was so tight. A moan of pain escaped my lips and I could feel tears sting the corners of my eyes.
"What No! Please just get away from me" I cried and with that he was gone. Just gone. I blinked a few times, was I imagining this. I looked at the top of my arms were he had grabbed me. I could see bruising start to appear on my arms, which was proof, that he was here but where'd he go. I ran through to my room but he wasn't there. This is crazy thought to myself, I shook my head and changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top and crawled into bed, not caring that my hair was still wet.
crimson eyes, all I could see was crimson eyes. Those eyes are so familiar where do I know them. The eyes disappeared and a figure appeared. It was him, the guy I ran into, the same man that appeared in my bathroom. What does he want?
"For you to remember" A voice like silk whispered, and then I was awake.
I sat up a figure stood in front of me. Watching me. I couldn't move, I couldn't even scream I was too startled, was I seeing things? I turned to switch on my lamp, when I turned back around the figure was gone...
