The Hokage was far from placated from Naruto's words, but as he was unwilling to say anything further, he was forced to let it go. Erilanis was absolutely certain that he would be visiting more often or setting up ninja to watch Naruto more closely in an effort to find out her identity. It made sense, as much as she didn't appreciate the paranoia that such actions gave her.
She was currently flying over Konoha, watching the day break as the sun began it's ascent into the sky. There were people out and about, particularly at the market where stalls were being opened for the day. A few shopkeepers were up as well, as were ninja.
The ninja didn't surprise her, as it would be foolish to lower defenses simply because it was night. In fact, attacks were generally more likely to happen at night. She had noticed a trend in the ninja however. Very few looked to be any older then the age of 30 at most. Perhaps the death rate here was higher than on Azeroth because the amount of land was smaller.
Shaking herself from her thoughts as she soared upwards, she wheeled about and began heading back to Naruto's apartment. Today she would begin him on the first, and likely to be the longest step of becoming a druid. Meditation.
She was absolutely certain that this was going to be Naruto's greatest challenge simply because he had such a hard time staying still. That is why she would be starting him on it early, as it would be completed right around the time it normally would, she reasoned.
Erilanis was no stranger to humans, having lived in Stormwind for a small stint in her life. The ones here in Konoha however were a tad more eccentric and slightly less adventurous then on Azeroth. She wondered if any had tried exploring past what they already knew, or if-
"Erilanis-nee-chan, what are you doing in the window?" Came a loud voice from in front of her. She squawked and flapped her wings before settling down and puffing up, annoyed with herself.
"Nothing Naruto, just thinking. Are you ready to begin learning how to become a druid after breakfast?" She asked, blinking glowing eyes own at him intently as his face broke into a huge grin.
"Really really really!? This is so awesome! Believe it!"
"This so not awesome, believe it. Why do I gotta do this again?" Naruto asked, fidgeting from his spot on the ground. He had finished his breakfast and began meditating a grand half hour ago, and had since interrupted said meditation seven times to ask a question or to go to the restroom.
Erilanis hung her head internally, knowing that it was going to be this way for quite some time as Naruto got used to being still and quiet while meditating. Outwardly, she raised an eyebrow, watching him carefully. "You must learn to feel the spirit and energy of the world around you before you begin to manipulate it. You must never touch the energy though, for, untrained as you are, it would very seriously hurt you."
Naruto seemed to think to over before nodding and squinting at her. "So like the katra stuff ninja use."
"Chakra, and yes. Though the chakra you ninja use comes from inside you, whereas Nature Energy comes from nature. Now back to meditating." Naruto groaned loudly and thunked his head on the wall, before sighing and sitting in the lotus position, screwing up his eyes to concentrate once more.
