Darren's POV
I run my hands through my curly hair. I feel like a jerk. I need to take my anger management classes seriously if I ever want to learn to control myself. As I'm looking around I catch sight of a bag left on the bleachers. I go to grab it and I look inside to see if I could find the owner. In the bag there's a piece of paper which reads the name: Chasity Rivers. Shit. She forgot her bag I take it and run to only to see that the bus already left. Well I have her number ....I guess I should apologize while I'm at it. So I take her bag to the locker room with me and I grab my phone out my bag and start to call her.

Chasity's POV

As soon as I get to the bus everyone is already on and ready to go.

"Rivers where have you been?" Coach questions.

"Sorry I had to use the bathroom," I lie.

"Next time let me know," she says

"Will do," I answer. Afterwards I take my seat next to Maxine. They start the bus and we begin to leave to go eat at a nearby restaurant.

"So what really happened?" Maxine questions.

"What are you talking about?" I ask trying to look confused.

She stares at me with such intensity that I crack. So I tell her everything that just happened.

"What an asshole what is wrong with boys these days?" She says.

My phone starts to ring I look af the caller I'd and guess what it's no one other than Darren.

"Speaking of the asshole," I mutter and show her the caller I'd

"Let me answer," she says taking the phone.

Darren's POV

Her phone rings three times before she answers. Or at least I thought it was her.

"Hello," I say softly into the phone.

"What the fuck do you want you asshole haven't you done enough," an unfamiliar voice answers.

"Ummm who's this?" I ask.

"This is Chasity's bestfriend you piece of shit and I know all about what you did to her what the fuck is wrong with you?!!" She yells.

I scratch the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Can I talk to Chasity please?" I ask.

"Fine but cause her anymore pain and I'll make the asswhoopin worse than what's already coming to you." She threatens.

A couple seconds later I hear her voice.

"Hello," she says in a soft but also uneasy tone.

"Chasity look I'm really sorry I have an anger issue and my dad pushes me hard in basketball. I just get so frustrated when we lose I take it out on everyone around me and I feel terrible. Will you please forgive me?"

A few seconds go by before she answers.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have distracted you during the game by yelling and I should have let you cool off and-,"

I cut her off.

"Chasity don't apologize it was my fault but I'm guessing by your speach you forgive me?"

"Yes"

I smile then I look down at her bag.

"Oh shit I almost forgot umm you left your bag on the bleachers. No worries tho because it's on good hands."
