Chapter 3

Sara Daniels (POV)

As I was standing there next to Aaron, his father was staring at us. I don't know why I agreed to help Aaron, but I do know whatever he is planning, I'm going be doing it for a long time.

"I see, my son. Well then, I expected you to arrive two hours before the meeting. Why did you not show?"

Aaron looked at his father. "I'm sorry father. It will never happen again."

Mr. Carlton looked at Aaron with furious eyes. "It better not happen again." He started to walk down the hall, but before he started he stopped. "By the way, you will be coming to the wedding ceremony."

Aaron sighed, "Yes, sir."

Mr. Carlton, then, continued to walk down the hall.

I looked Aaron, who agony written all over his face. "Are you okay?" He looked at me as though he forgot I was standing there. He nodded. "Well, I'll be going to find my room now." As I started to head the way I came, Aaron grabbed my hand.

"Don't leave, please." I was looking down the hall, but I could feel the heat from his hand. I turned around to face him. He was crying. I opened my eyes with shock. I didn't know someone like him knew how to cry. He seemed like the type to break the heart, but he has the painful heart. I pulled him into a hug. "Don't leave me. Sara, please don't leave." I petted his head to comfort him.

"I'm not going anywhere." Aaron reminded me of my little brother, Bradley. He needed to be comfort.

"Mr. Carlton?" a girl's voice came around the corner. When she came into sight, her bright blonde hair just casual followed her flow. She walked with grace. She saw him crying, and she hurried to his side. "Sir?"

He wiped his eyes, and looked at her. "Taylor, I'm alright. Prepare a room for me tonight." Taylor looked at me, which her eyes reminded me of a bright summer's breezy day, and she turned around and started to walk to the front desk.

I looked at him. He didn't seem like he wanted to move from where he was. So, I broke the silence, "Do you want me to help you to your room?" He was looking down, but when I spoke, he looked surprised that I was still there.

Aaron Carlton (POV)

Why? Can't he see that I'm trying my hardest to be his son? Why does he pressure me more than anyone else?

I was crying in the hall in someone's arms. Whose arms am I crying in?

"Mr. Carlton?" Taylor called for me. "Sir?"

I looked up and saw Sara holding me in her arms. I stared at her. Why was she still here? I soon realized that tears were coming down my face. Why am I acting so much like a girl? I looked down and wiped my eyes. I, then, looked at Taylor. . "Taylor, I'm alright. Prepare a room for me tonight." She turned around and started to walk to the front desk.

I didn't want to move. So, she broke the silence, "Do you want me to help you to your room?" I looked at her. She kept starring at me with those big beautiful brown eyes. "Aaron?" I blinked and realized I was still kneeling on the floor. She held her hand to me, "Let me help you," she said with a smile.

Why was she being so nice? I was an idiot kneeling on the floor. I took her hand, and I got off the ground. "Thank you."

She smiled, "You're welcome."

I stared at her. She's so beautiful.

"Do you want me to help you to your room?"

"No," I said, "but did you need help finding yours?"

She started to blush. I chuckled. Slowly, she nodded her head. I took her key and walked to the elevator. We got on, and I pressed on the 8th floor button. We silently stood in the elevator. When we reached the floor, I stepped out, and she followed like a little lost child.

We came across the room that was hers. I slide the key in the door and allowed her to go in first. I assumed that she was impressed with what she saw. I walked in after her and set her key on the counter.

"I'll be going. Have a great stay Sara."

"You're going?" she said, turning to face me.

"Yeah, I have things to take care of in the hotel. If you need anything, call the front desk."

She looked at me. "Alright, thank you Aaron."

"No problem." I walked out and shut the door behind me.

I really hope that I see her again. She's defiantly someone I want to get to know.
