Ok so here's the thing. I'm kind of terrified of my roommate. His name is D.O, and he is a few inches shorter than me. D.O has these eyes that just happened look into your soul and judge you. It's not just me that sees how crowds part for him. The only idiot that has the guts to bother him is Chanyeol. Baekhyun also always follows D.O around. With the way D.O looks at the two of them I'll admit they have guts to continue bothering him. These past two weeks we haven't said a word to each other. By the time I wake up he's already gone, sheets neatly tucked in and his plant watered. I never knew someone so small could have such a big presence. When we auditioned for the last time before we were chosen and he sang, I was mesmerized. His voice was so beautiful. Deep, mesmerizing and powerful. I think this while gazing at the sign on the door.
" If you come in here Chanyeol, your dead."
I am nearly trampled over as Sehun runs past me, carrying Luhan on his shoulders. I smile in the direction of my dongsaeng but sigh.
I don't have time for love.
I head over to the cafeteria. While I'm getting my food I hear whispers behind me. They come from other groups waiting to debut or second string candidates.
"Look it's Kai"
" what a show off "
" How arrogant"
Even though I hear there comments I look straight ahead, trying to not show any emotion. Someone slams into me and I roughly fall to the ground. My elbow stings at it scrapes the floor. I glare at the retreating figure.
" That's what you get for being a show off "
I ruffle my hair and sigh. There's rice and all over the place and kimchi staining my shirt. The whispers are back again but I'm all but used to them now. From the side Sehun moves toward me but another hand extends towards me before he teaches me. I look up into D.Os eyes and unconsciously grip his hand, holding on tight. He smiles at me kindly,
" Cmon, let's get you washed up."
