"Frank come on it's time to leave." My dad said.
"No Gee said he'd be here." I yelled.
"He's not coming." He said.
I gave up and got in the car. I had a box clutched in my hand filled with pictures Gee had sent me. He looked over at me and saw the box.
"What's that?" He asked.
"Just some things Gee sent me." I mumbled. "Take me to Mikey's."
"Whatever." He said changing his direction.
We pulled up to a small house and I got out quickly grabbing my stuff. I ran up to the door and knocked on it. Mikey opened the door and engulfed me in a big hug. I hugged him back and I saw Ray come up behind him. He joined us in the hug, then my mind wondered to the small boy in pastels.
"Where's Gee?" I asked.
"Oh he didn't write you did he?" Ray said.
"No I haven't heard anything from him for the past three years." I said.
"Frank he's been in and out of rehab." Mikey said.
"What? Who got him on it again?" I said.
"His old boyfriend." Mikey said.
"Where is Gee now." I asked.
"Gerard's supposed to be coming home tomorrow." Ray interrupted.
"Could I stay here? You know till I get on my feet." I asked.
"Yea of course Gerard's room is right there." Mikey said.
I walked in to the bedroom and it was a mess. I sat my bags down and started to pick up his stuff. I put all of it in the hamper then I started to look through his drawers making sure there wasn't anything. I found a couple bags, and some needles.
I took them into the kitchen and Mikey sighed in annoyance. I sat them on the counter and Mikey took them. I sat at the table and watched Ray cook dinner.
"So how you two adjusting to married life." I asked.
"It's just an engagement." He said.
"Okay, but I better be invited to the wedding." I laughed
"Who said I wanted you there, you'd probably fuck Gerard in the bathroom the inter time." Mikey laughed coming in.
"Hey! Are the guys coming over?" I asked.
"Ashton, Calum and Pete are." Mikey said.
"What about everyone else?" I asked.
"Patrick broke it off with Pete and moved to Cali, Luke and Michael ran off to Australia, Brendon met some guy named Ryan and ran off we haven't heard from him since, Lynz went to college, and Jamia went with her." Mikey said.
"Oh so everyone carried on with their lives." I laughed.
"Everyone but Gerard." He said.
"Why is everyone calling him Gerard?" I asked.
"He doesn't let anyone call him Gee. One time I did and he broke down in tears. Ray did a couple months back and Gerard was yelling about it for an hour." Mikey said.
"So has he changed that much?" I asked.
"Yeah he has." Ray said disappointed.
"Seeing him like this it hurts, especially when you watch him fall and not being to do anything." Mikey said wiping tears away.
