Next day

"Frankie come on let me." He whined.

"No not right now." I smiled.

"Please just five minutes." He said.

I gave up on the argument and took him across the street. I bought him ten tickets enough for at least two rides. He smiled and took the tickets.

"Let's go on that one." He said pointing to the Freak-Out

"Pup I can't ride it." I said.

"It's only five tickets take half of mine." He smiled handing me the tickets.

"Okay I guess I'll go." I said walking with him.

We got in line and stood there for a good five minutes. We got to the front of the line and Gee gave him the tickets pulling me behind. I helped him into the seat and then I jumped into the one next to him. He reached for my hand and I took it. The ride started and I tightened my grip on his hand. I had my eyes closed and Gee was laughing next to me. I felt like I was falling and its was freaking me out.

"Daddy open your eyes." He yelled.

"Pup, daddy's gonna throw up." I yelled.

"It's fine daddy." He laughed.

The ride stopped and and I quickly jumped off running to the trash can. I threw up everything I just ate and Gee came over to me. I sat down on the ground.

"Daddy are you okay?" He said worried.

"Yeah babe." I said hanging my head.

"Daddy I think it's time to go home." He said helping me up.

"Yeah let's go." I said walking to the car.

"I'm driving." He said rubbing my forehead.

"No I will." I said.

"No I'm driving." He argued.

"Fine, you can drive." I said giving up getting in the car.

"Thank you daddy." He said getting in the drivers seat.

"You know we've been arguing a lot today." I pointed out leaning back in my chair.

"I'm sorry." He whimpered starting the car.

"It's fine pup, I wouldn't trade it for anything." I smiled.

"Good, because I wouldn't either." He laughed.

"Pup do you ever get tired of me?" I asked.

"Once." He said.

"Really when?" I asked.

"When you left five years ago." He smiled.

"You little shit." I laughed.

"Hey Frankie?" He whispered.

"Yeah pup?" I said looking over at him.

"Can we talk when we get home?" He asked.

"Yes of course." I smiled.

I saw tears forming in his eyes and it hurt. I wiped his eyes and he smiled looking over at me. We pulled up to Mikey's and I stumbled out of the car.

"Daddy are you okay?" He continued to ask me.

"Yes pup I'm fine don't worry." I smiled. "The real question is are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, daddy it's fine." He smiled tears evident in his eyes.

"Pup we are talking when we get inside." I said.
