Gee
I still had the taste of Frankie on my lips mixed with half a package of cigarettes. But it was slowly fading as Frank's dad drug him to the door. I held on the Frank as tight as I could but it was no use.
"Let him go!" I yelled.
He didn't listen and drug Frankie down the stairs. I walked to our bedroom and grabbed my phone. I called Mikey tears running down my face.
"Hey Gee did he leave?" He asked.
"Yea, Mikey he didn't want to leave." I said.
"I'm sorry Gee." He mumbled over the phone.
"Will you go with me somewhere?" I asked.
"Sure." He said.
"I'm on my way." I said.
"Okay let me get dressed." He said
I heard him get up out of bed and unzip a bag.
"Okay I'll be there in a minute." I said hanging up.
I grabbed a black skirt and a sweater. I slipped it on and grabbed the boots Luke got me as a joke know I most likely would never wear them. But today is an exception.
I ran down stairs cigarettes and keys in my hand. I got in my small truck and stared at the building for a minute before lighting another cigarette. It was coming back. I didn't want it to but what else was I supposed to do. It hurt worse than last time.
I pulled out of the parking lot and drop over to Rays. I honked the horn and Mikey ran out.
"So where are we going?" He asked.
"To that shop down the road, I heard great thing from Frankie about it." I smiled.
Mikey took the cigarette out of my mouth and threw it out the window along with the package. I glared at him and he growled at me.
"Fine." I said.
I pulled up to the shop and Mikey gave me an astonished look. I smiled and got out of the car. Mikey followed and I growing more confident each step.
"Hi I'm here for an appointment for Frank Iero." I said.
"Yeah, Lux is in the back." She said pointing to the curtain.
We walked to the back and Lux greeted me with a big smile. "Gee! How have you been." He said hugging me.
"Great you?" I said.
"Wonderful, where's Frank?" He asked.
"Oh he went to the military." I said.
"Oh I'm sorry bud." Lux said.
"Yeah he was supposed to come with me today, but I brought my brother instead." I smiled sitting down.
"So what do you want." He asked.
"Do you think you could do something like this." I said pulling up the picture on my phone.
"Yeah, anything for you." He smiled.
I grabbed Mikey's hand as he started. In my mind it was the perfect tattoo but Mikey had other ideas.
"Gee did you think this over?" Mikey asked.
"Not really but hey half way done." I said through clenched teeth.
"Okay." He said.
"And done." Lux smiled wiping it.
"Oh thank god." I said letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Oh my god it looks like the real thing." I smiled.
I looked at the mark on my thigh and I was happy. I hugged Mikey and he wrapped his arms around me. I broke down in tears as he held me.
"I can't Mikey, I can't." I cried.
