A few weeks have passed, it's been about three weeks since anything really interesting happened. Lucas and I have hung out a few other times but now he is apparently dating Jessica, one of the 'popular' girls in school that thinks she can get any guy she wants. I really though Lucas and I had something, I guess not. Today as I am walking toward class I see them. Jessica is all over him, and he all over her. I've never liked Jessica. All she and her group of so called friends do is bang anyone they think is hot. Her friends are Lilliana, Addison, Adeline, and Kenzie, along with some others who's name I don't know. Jessica has also always hated me, I don't know why but she just does. She makes my life a living hell.
Lucas and I still talk sometimes, not very often. Since all him and Jessica can seem to do is be all over each other I don't think much of it. I guess he goes for the easy girls.
"Hey Melody, I haven't seen you in a while"
"I'm great and yeah, you probably have been busy with your new girl" here I was, sounding as if I owned him. I still liked him, but I had no right to claim anything from him. "I mean if you like girls like that, then please continue," I'm just digging my own grave, as I said this he opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by our professor talking.
Today was one of the days when I had him in 4 of my classes, and I dreaded it, I didn't want to see or talk to him. In three of those four classes he sat near my seat, forcing me to talk to him. The day went on, until the final class was dismissed and we finally got to leave.
As I quickly excited the door trying to avoid him as much as possible someone grabbed my arm, and to my surprise it was him. I though he wanted nothing to do with me.
"Look okay I know that you like me," I froze as he spoke these words.
   "No I don't" I said confidently.
"No? I beg to differ, see if I touch you here," he grabbed my waist, "or here," he moved his hands up slowly, stopping at my collarbones, walking his fingers up to my face, I let out a raged breath, "how does that make you feel"
"Lucas, you have a girlfriend, someone who I'm sure you love very dearly, and she wouldn't be too happy seeing you work your hands up my body, so please don't do it, it's that simple, we aren't kids anymore, there's no need to play this game," as I said this I moved his hands from my face to his pockets and I walked away. My roommate was finally back, she was a pretty cool person, and one of my best friends. She had been back for a few days and I told her everything that had happened when she wasn't here, everything from Lucas to Daniel to classes, to the fights that had occurred.
As I talked to her I heard a knock on the door, she opened it and came back in super excited.
"Look look look, it's an invitation to a party!!" She was definitely a party girl, and I would also occasionally go. The party was on Saturday, it was a Daniels house, obviously because it couldn't be anyone more crazy hosting a party for everyone to get wasted. He would pretty much always host the parties, and his parents didn't care, they would usually be out and about or on a trip somewhere. He was that kid who's parents were never home. My mind wandered to Lucas, was he going? Was Jessica going with him? There were so many questions I couldn't answer. Saturday came too soon. Before I knew it I was at the party with everyone else.
