Jack's POV

It was an early morning when Jack was woken up by Ianto, he had on a new suit and had Jack's coffee in his hand. "Morning Sir" Ianto's voice was still quite rough, he must have only woken up shortly before me. "Morning" I smile slightly and begin to get out of the bed, I take the coffee from Ianto's hand and plant a quick kiss on his lips.

After I got changed we went upstairs to the hub, Ianto was already up there cleaning the empty pizza boxes from the previous night, I began to help him, in no less than 30 minutes the hub was finally clean. Shortly after Gwen walked in laughing "that didn't happen" she says as she walks through the security door, it is clear who she is talking to when she is followed by Owen.

"Yeah, it is" Owen replied and walked towards his desk, "care to share what you two are talking about" I joke and walk over to them, "apparently our own Mr Haper hunted down a weevil by himself" Gwen stated sarcastically. I look at Owen questioningly and the look on his face is the classic 'don't ask' and I laughed and walked away, the whole team was here once Tosh walked into the room smiling.

"Tosh, have you got anything on that device I gave you?" I shout from the top of the stairs, her reply was barely audible but I understood "Nothing so far, I'm seeing if there was anything linking it to Torchwood One" I nod and go back into my office. The rest of the day was mainly quite, Tosh was still looking for information on a device, Owen was performing an autopsy on a dead weevil we found two days ago (we need to discover the cause of Death), Gwen was checking if there was any rift activity, Ianto at the front desk and I was checking the archives for  any information on the alien tech I found a few weeks back.

Around 8pm the hub's alarms began to go off, I ran up the stairs to try and discover what the issue was, however, the door wouldn't open. I ran Gwen's mobile desperate for answers "Gwen? Why the hell has the hub gone into lock down?" I practically yell down the phone, "we don't know, everything was fine then suddenly lock down activated itself" I sighed in annoyance, I was stuck here for six hours, maybe more unless they could somehow override the lockdown system.

It was into the second hour when I received a call from Ianto "Hello?" Ianto's voice was clear down the phone "what the hell happened? I left to go get a more coffee beans, now I'm back I can't get into the hub?" I held back a laugh "lock down activated and no one understands why, I'm still stuck in the archive room, the others are hopefully trying to override it" I smiled slightly when I heard Ianto's sigh. "Ianto, just take the rest of the day off, by the time lockdown is over everyone will be going home".

Ianto's POV

I nod when Jack told me to go home and begin to walk back to my apartment, I haven't been there in a month as I've mainly been living with Jack in the hub, I've kept my apartment just in case the hub gets destroyed, which honestly wouldn't be surprising. When I walked into my apartment it felt weird, I haven't seen it in a month and now everything just looks weird to me.

I sit on the couch and wait for the lockdown to be over so I can go back to the hub, time passes slowly, when it felt like an hour it was actually two minutes, so I decided to sleep for a little while and wait for the alarm I set to go off.
