Marshall's POV

I drive both of us over to my house. I don't usually do this, but, it's for a good cause. Plus, if Royce trusts her, I should be able to trust her. I pull up to the driveway. I get out of my seat and out of my car. It's really dark outside. It's probably about 2am right now. I open the passenger seat door and pick Y/n up bridal style again.
Unconsciously, she puts her hand over my shoulder. Her face is right beside my neck. I can feel her small, warms breaths on my neck. It feels comforting. I look down to see her but it's too dark. Her pink, rosy lips are basically the most noticeable. I'm still looking at her not realizing I'm still carrying her outside in the cold. I have to stop overthinking about this.
I go into the garage and open the door. I try to squeeze both of us through the door way. I go into the living room and set her on the couch. I don't really think about putting her in the guest room since she isn't gonna stay until morning time. I still wonder what happened to her.
I sit down on the coffee table right in front of the couch. I look down at her. I see a small bruise on the top of her head. It's on the right side of her forehead. Shit. Someone must've of came at her during the middle of the night and beat her. Really hard. Who would do something like that? And why? Thank god I found her. I hope Y/n wakes up soon so I could talk to her about everything.

Y/n's POV

I slowly open my eyes and the first thing I see is the ceiling. I don't recognize it. This can't be my house. Where am I? I'm in shock so I can't move at the moment. The guy. The guy from last night. Did he abduct me? I try my best to move my head to look around. I look to my right and see a face. A man. Marshall. Marshall.....? What is he-

Marshall speaks up. Y/n. Are you okay?? What happened to you?? You have a bruise on your head.

Marshall is breathing so hard. He looks really scared for me. I'm still in shock and still really confused. I pause before speaking.
But I mean- where am I, first of all. Why is Marshall here, taking care of me? How did he know where to come get me? So many unanswered questions.
I'm looking at Marshall so confused. I realize I haven't said anything a while so I'll just speak.

How did you-how..did you- What are you doing here? Where am I?

You're at my house. Try to calm down. You're safe. You're confused, but I'm just as confused as you are. What happened to you today? After you left the studio?

Suddenly all my memory of what happened tonight come back to mind.

I remember..stopping by the bank to get money out of the ATM. After I parked behind the building, a man- he..took my bag away from my arm and he had a metal pipe in his hand. I guess- he hit me in the head so I wouldn't remember anything or so I wouldn't be able to call the cops on him.

That explains the bruise on your forehead. Did he strangle you? Choke you? Yell at you? How many times did he hit you with the pipe?

Marshall. One question at a time please. Well, he did put his arm around my neck when he came up behind me. That's when he took my bag. He let me go and that's when he hit me with  the pipe. He only hit me once but I fell down to the ground right away. From there, I don't really remember anything else. Now fill me in. I'm also really confused.

Hold on. Sit up really quick. I'll grab you a blanket. You're shaking. I'll get you some water too.

He goes up stairs to I assume grab some blankets. Damn, Marshall seems really worried. Still confused on how he found me. He comes back with a few blankets in his hand and comes over to the living room.

Here, make yourself feel at home. Get warm. When I was carrying you, you were shivering.

Carrying me? What? Marshall walks to the kitchen. He gets a cup from the upper cabinet and pours me a glass of water. He comes back over to the couch and hands me the water.

Why were you carrying me?

Marshall sits back on the coffee table and sits in front of me while I take a sip of water.

Okay. Since you're confused, I'll tell you everything. Royce knew something was wrong when you didn't call him before he left for Ohio. He called your friend and they said they had no sign of you. He tried to call some of your friends but they wouldn't pick up. He called me and told me to look for you. The whole hour and a half, yes it took almost 2 hours to find you. I came searching for you. I saw you on the ground near the bank. I carried you into my car and now we're here.

Did you call the police? Why didn't you take me to the hospital instead? Does Royce know you found me?

I didn't call the police because it would draw a lot of attention on me to the public.

Of course. Always thinking of himself.

I didn't bring you to the hospital because I figured you were okay and you just needed to rest before you woke up. Now that I think about it, that sounds like a bad idea but you're okay now so whatever. I didn't call Royce yet, but I was waiting until you woke up. Now that you're awake, I could call him now.

No, don't call him.

Why not?

When you tell him you found me, he's gonna start asking non stop questions and he's gonna be super worried. I don't want to ruin his concert.

But he's gonna worry even more if I don't tell him I found you. He probably still thinks you're kidnapped or something. I have to call him.

It's alright. I'll just call him when I get home. I'll try to explain it well so he doesn't worry too much and doesn't get distracted from his concert.

Okay. Just call him soon. He's probably just as worried as I was.

Yeah. You were freaking out when I woke up.

I was fucking scared okay, and really really confused. I had so many questions to ask.

Well, they're answered now. I should probably get home right now. Shit, I don't have my car. I left it near the bank.

Marshall's POV

Maybe I should just drop her off.
I really don't want her to go yet. What's wrong with me? A while ago, I was telling myself she wasn't gonna stay here for too long. But..she still looks super injured. I mean, I still have to do my part to help her. Am I using this as an excuse to keep her here? Nah, I shouldn't think like this.
Maybe she could take a quick shower since she was laying on the ground late at night, in the cold for hours. I could also help her clean up her bruise. It looks really bad. She probably hasn't had anything to eat in a while. I could prepare her a late night dinner.

No, don't go yet.
