Y/n's POV

Everyone in this room is asking questions about how me and Royce know each other. Marshall is staying pretty quiet. He's cracked a few jokes, but only to Royce. I think he thinks I'm a person with shitty manners. Eh, I don't give a fuck. I shouldn't have to treat him like some king just because he's famous. Marshall seems really interested about me and Royce.

Royce speaks up. Man, but I know me and Y/n joke around a lot but I'm gonna be forreal. I know she's gonna be there for me no matter how much of a bitch I am to her. Royce smiles as he says all of his like he's shy to admit it. We were close friends in high school, and we still are. You can't really find friendships like that anymore.

I decide to speak back to him. Aw Royce. Just say it. I know you love me. Royce looks at me and furrows his eyebrows like he ain't gonna admit it. Fucking stubborn. He isn't saying anything, wow Royce. I talk to break the silence. Okayyy, fine, I know I wouldn't trade you for anyone in this room. You're a great and loving friend. I'll say it first. I love you.

MARSHALL'S POV

Okay. I guess she doesn't seem like that much of a bitch. Royce seems like he could really trust her. I don't know if I could trust her tho. I mean come on, she has to be playing some game. I don't mean to sound like I have a big ego but, I'm Eminem. Does she have something against me? Oh please don't tell me she's one of those people that actually takes my music seriously. Or maybe it's just a game she's trying to play so she could mess me up in the head. I have to stop overthinking.

Damn, Royce is still teasing her about past stories that happened to both of them before. Y/n won't stop laughing.

Her smile is actually kinda cute.

Wait. Not this. No. Nope. Am I really feeling seduced right now? She's funny, she has a sense of humor but she just seems off.

Paul is about to talk. I have to let go of all these thoughts.

So Royce how come you haven't ever brought up Y/n a single time if you've known her for this long?

She hates socializing with people that work with me. She thinks they're some famous, rich stuck up people. I really only hang out with her with friends that no me just as Royce, not as the famous guy who works with a bunch of celebrities.

Y/n doesn't want to meet any of his celebrity friends..? Damn, that's a first. Most girls I know would die to meet them. Y/n's different. Really different. I guess she really isn't playing a game. She just doesn't like me. Oh. Now I kinda wanna get to know her. Well, I mean she doesn't seem like she's using Royce, she didn't want to meet any of us in the first place, so she wouldn't use me either. What am I thinking. I probably shouldn't get too close with her. Y/n's about to speak.

Okay first of all, I don't hate people that work with you. Second of all, I don't think they're some stuck up rich people. I just know you as Royce-the guy I've known since high school. Royce-the guy that has always been there for me. Not Royce-the famous rapper who collabs with a bunch of famous people on songs. I just want it to say like that, you know?

Okay, she's really different. She doesn't want to know the "famous" side of Royce? Why not? She's only interested in the real side of Royce. Never begged him to meet any of his famous friends? Never asked him to give her a bunch of money? Buy her things? This girl is something else. Shit. I have to be in the studio in 2 minutes. I don't wanna leave yet. Maybe she could come into the studio with me and Royce. After all, Royce did invite her. And it would be rude not too. I'm sure she won't bother us while we work, right?
