"Wake up." I hear Dad say. I groan at look it the digital clock by my bed. I groan when I see it is only 8:30 in the morning.
"Don't forget that you kids are staying the next 2 nights at the Cottage with Bella and Edward." Dad says. I jump out of bed and get dressed after Dad says that. He chuckles as he leaves my room. Once I am dressed, I head downstairs and sit at the table to eat breakfast. We have pancakes. sausage and bacon. Once we finish, it is 9:00 and time to pack for the sleepover.
"I'm glad it is summer." I say to the others as we all head upstairs.
"Me too." they all say. We all go into our separate rooms and pack for the next 2 nights and days. We all finish around 9:45, and we meet in the hallway.
"Race you!" I say, and I run down the hallways and slide down the railing of the stairs.
"I won!" I say happily. We all are out of breath.
"Never do that again! That was very dangerous, especially with socks on!" Dad scolds.
"Sorry." we all say.
"Its okay this time." Dad says.
" Are you done packing?" Mom says.
"Yep." we all say.
"Good. Bella and Edward were wondering if you can come over earlier. I told him I would ask you 5. Do you want to?" Mom says.
"Yes!" we all exclaim. Mom and Dad chuckle.
"What's all this yelling about?" I hear Bella say from the doorway. Remembering the comment Dad made a few minutes ago about running in the house, I settle for a quick walk to Bella and I hug her. She immediately hugs back.
"Are you coming over early?" Bella asks.
"Yes!" We all yell again.
"Okay. Get your bags." Bella says. We go upstairs and grab our bags then go back downstairs. We say our goodbyes and then start walking the short distance to the cottage.
When we get there,Edward shows us to our rooms. Me, Katie and Leah are in a huge room with two beds and a couch. Jake and Seth are in a different room that was a little smaller.
"I love this place!" I say.
"Good. when you finish unpacking, come into the living room and we will talk about rules. Then, we can have some fun!" Bella says. We all cheer and start unpacking. We are all done within 15 minutes. We go into the living room and sit and wait for Bella or Edward to start talking.
"Same rules, same consequences." Bella says.
"Understood?" Edward says. We all nod.
"Let's play a game!" Bella says. We all cheer as we start playing UNO.
"F***ing h***!" I yell in frustration when I lose for the 5th time in a row.
"Allison Marie!" Edward and Bella scold at the same time.
"That's my name!" I say back.
"Go to the corner because obviously you can't control your temper or your mouth." Edward says. I roll my eyes, huff, and then stomp to the corner.
"Come back here and try that again. This time with out the attitude." Bella scolds.
"H*** no!" I say. The next thing I know, Bella is behind me. She grabs my arm and swats my bottom 10 times. I yelp with the last 5.
"Now. Stand here until Edward or me says you can get out. Okay?" Bella says.
"Okay." I say. Bella hugs me briefly and then goes and continues playing. After what seemed like eternity, I am let out of the corner. We play several different games for the rest of the afternoon. Finally it is bedtime.
"Time for bed." Bella says. None of us argue. Soon, I fall asleep.
