MUSIC: I Kissed a Girl

Aom stepped out of the car, and found herself rushing to go inside the house. It was six thirty in the evening, and she just came from the store. " Hi guys! Sorry, Mommy's late!" Aom said, kissing Tina on the lips. They were all waiting for her in the dining room. "It's okay, Mommy. We have lots of time." says Tina, giving Aom a little massage on her shoulders. " Come on, let's eat." says Sunny, pulling back a chair for her Mommy. "Thank you, baby. " Aom said. She kissed Sunny on the cheek. Then she reached on her left side, and gave Meg a kiss on the cheek too. Now, they're all seated together, they're having early dinner. "Hmnnn....looks good and smells even better. Who cooked this pasta?" says Aom, while putting food on Tina's plate. "Me and Sunny cooked it. Mumsy baked the garlic bread, and chopped all these fruits. " Meg proudly said. " Wow...you all did a good job covering up for Mommy tonight. Thank you, guys. Now let me taste it...hmnnn...so delish!!!" says Aom, savoring the pasta. She was even closing her eyes, teasing the kids. They all laughed.

After they finished putting away everything, Aom looked at her watch. It's seven fifteen. "Meg, are you sure you don't want to join us?" asked Aom. " I'd love to Mommy, but I promised Granny and Gramps I would sleep there tonight. And Scott is expecting me, we have a scrapbook to finish. Is it okay?" asked Meg. " Of course, baby. No problem. We'll just pick you up tomorrow at nine. We'll go to the temple really early, then we'll have lunch at Granny's place. " says Aom. " Okay, Mommy. I'll be ready by nine. " Meg said. "Good. Now take a quick shower, put on your jammies, and pack your clothes for tomorrow. I'm gonna take a quick shower too. Mumsy and Sunny are all set. " says Aom.

After dropping Meg at the Manaying's residence, Aom, Tina and Sunny went back to La Brea. They headed to Brea Bar. It's Saturday, and Sunny has a gig. Tina and Aom are going to watch their daughter perform on stage. They're excited. The show starts at nine fifteen, and Sunny will have two sets. "Okay, Mumsy...you and Mommy sit here. I don't want you sitting in the front, because that's the smoking section. This corner is perfect for you, guys. I already told the servers to come to you every now and then, if you may need something. " Sunny said, giving her Mommy a wink. "Okay, baby. Have fun and just do your thing. We'll just enjoy the show." Aom said. She and Tina gave their daughter a kiss. Few minutes, and SUNNY DAY Band was already on stage, ready to perform. People were already screaming. Aom and Tina can't believe what they're seeing at the moment . There were lots of people. The place is jam packed. But one thing noticeable was most of the audience were girls. Tina and Aom were looking at each other, as if they understood what they're both thinking. But they didn't say anything. " I want to enjoy this night, Mommy. Can I drink some beer ?" asked Tina, smiling. Aom rubbed her back affectionately. "Of course, Mumsy. I'll do the driving tonight. But only up to three bottles, okay?" says Aom, leaning her forehead against Tinas' ."Thank you. This is like a date, huh? Tina said. " Oh yeah. Some wild date, watching our daughter sing her lungs out..." says Aom. They both laughed...

When the band started playing the opening song, " This is for all the girls who like to explore! This is for you, guys!!!" says Sunny, pointing to a group of middle aged women. They were all raising their hands, screaming and cheering for Sunny. They were eight of them, and it looked like they're couples. Then when Sunny started singing, with her bandmate Nikka, who plays the keyboards , the people were screaming, and dancing. They obviously liked the song Sunny was singing. " I kissed a girl. " It's an old song, but it's striking. It made the people get up from their seats. The crowd was enjoying. Aom was so surprised seeing lot of les couples. Some of them were actually kissing, not minding the people around them. The song was leading, and they all liked it.
