Two months have passed...

"Hey, Sunny! Where are you? Are you busy?" Angel sounded so excited. She has some good news. "Hi, Angel! We're here at the beach. It's Sunday today, remember? What's up? " Sunny's sitting on the sand, facing the sunset. She's looking at her parents and her sister from afar. They're near the water, playing around. They were having fun. She got a little tired so she decided to take a rest for a while. "Guess what?!" Says Angel. "What? " asked Sunny. " "Well, the date is still tentative, but for sure we'll be at La Brea in less than two weeks. Oh my God, Sunny...Finally, I'll get to see you again. Imagine? Ten years, and we'll be together again. I can hardly wait. And, one more thing, we don't have to waste time anymore. We have to scout for a school right away. Or, if you have some suggestions, we can start from there. It's a little late actually, but we can still catch up. " Angel was just unstoppable. She just kept on talking. "Hey! Whoa! Halt! Time out! Time out!...breath Angel...breathe...You're so funny!" Sunny was shaking her head. "What???! That's all you can say? Are you not excited? " Angel mellowed down a bit. And Sunny felt that..." Hey...dont get upset. It was just fun listening to you. You talked really fast. " she said, smiling. Angel just shrugged her. "Oh, whatever, Sunny ..." she said. Then they were both laughing. Few minutes, and they hung up...

"Goodnight,Meg...Goodnight, Mommy..." Sunny kissed them goodnight. She's gonna spend the night in her music room. She wants to practice for Friday's gig. " Goodnight, baby. Be sure to keep your door, locked. Okay? We'll see you tomorrow. I love you. " says Aom. She touched Sunny's face. "I love you too, Mommy. " Sunny gave her a smile. " I'll be joining Sunny for a while, Mommy. I'm not sleepy yet. " says Tina. " Okay, Mumsy. But don't stay up so late. " says Aom. She hugged Tina by the waist. She kissed her on the lips, and whispered..." Because i'm gonna miss you..." Aom brushed her nose against Tina's. They smiled at each other . " I won't take long, Mommy. " says Tina. Then she kissed Meg too, and said goodnight.

"Are you okay, Sunny? You seemed so uptight. " asked Tina. They were already in the music room, sitting on the sofa. "I need to tell you something. And I think I made a mistake of not telling you about a lot of things. " Sunny said, sounding so serious. " Okay...so what are these things you want to tell me?" asked Tina. " ANGEL'S FAMILY IS COMING BACK TO LA BREA IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. I KNEW ABOUT THIS A FEW MONTHS AGO, BUT I NEVER GOT THE CHANCE TO TELL YOU. And, me and Angel are planning to go to the same school. Different course, but...same school. And if it's gonna be a long drive from La Brea, we're also thinking of staying in a dorm. " Sunny took a deep breath. Finally, she was able to say it. TINA LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS BITTEN BY A SNAKE...SHE WAS SO SURPRISED IN HEARING THIS...SHE TOOK A DEEP BREATH...SHE CAN'T EXPLAIN WHAT SHE'S FEELING AT THE MOMENT...SHE HAS MIXED EMOTIONS...THEN SHE THOUGHT OF CHIX...AND OF COURSE, SHE THOUGHT OF AOM...

There was a long silence...

"Mumsy? Are you okay?" Sunny looked worried the minute she saw her Mumsy feeling a bit uneasy. Tina looked at her daughter..." I'M OKAY...BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I'M THINKING ABOUT, RIGHT? I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TEN YEARS AGO IS A THING OF THE PAST. BUT I'M THINKING OF YOUR MOMMY. WE DON'T OWN LA BREA, AND OF COURSE WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANGEL'S FAMILY WHEREVER THEY WANT TO STAY , OR WHATEVER THEY WANT TO DO . IT'S JUST THAT, I'M A LITTLE SCARED YOUR MOMMY WILL BE REMINDED OF WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN ME AND CHIX. I DON'T WANT HER TO FEEL UNEASY TOO. I DON'T WANT COMPLICATIONS ANYMORE...WE'RE SO OVER THAT... Tina looked so restless. Sunny leaned on her shoulder. " MUMSY, I THINK YOU'RE EXAGGERATING. EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE. IT'S BEEN TEN YEARS. THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF CHANGES. YOU'VE SAID IT YOURSELF, WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU, GUYS IS A THING OF THE PAST. SO, WHAT'S TO WORRY ABOUT? HONESTLY, I'M MORE CONCERNED ABOUT ANGEL BEING MY BESTFRIEND. I HOPE WHATEVER HAPPENED WITH YOU GUYS WON'T AFFECT OUR FRIENDSHIP. PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT AGAINST US, MUMSY. WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. " Sunny is now staring at Tina. She's waiting for an answer...Tina gave her a smile. She put her arm around Sunny and she squeezed her daughter's shoulder. " OF COURSE. ME AND MOMMY ARE NOT THAT INSENSITIVE. PAST IS PAST. YOU AND ANGEL ARE GONNA BE FINE." Tina let out a sigh...EVEN IF SHE SAID THAT, SOMEHOW SHE FEELS WORRIED ABOUT WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN IN THE COMING DAYS...
