"What time is Sunny picking you up?" Chix asked cheerfully, while she stares at Angel, looking at the mirror and putting some light make up on her face. They're in Angel's room, and they're both waiting for Sunny. "Well, she said around nine to nine thirty. She's gonna be finished with the rehearsal before nine. " says Angel. "I can see that you look so happy. Are you happy? " asked Chix. "Ma, you should see the look on your face. You're the one who looks happy and you sound so excited!" exclaimed Angel, shaking her head. " But of course! Finally after ten years, I get to see Sunny again. I wonder how she looks like...especially when she's with her band, singing and playing the guitar...that is so cool, right?" Chix said, smiling. "Oh, Ma...you should have seen my face when I saw Sunny the first time I watched her performance at the bar. She was terrific. Really good...just awesome..." says Angel.

"So, does she wear make up too? And what kind of outfit does she wear? Black leather skirts...high boots...what else? Is she sporting some kind of a unique hairstyle...short or long haired? " Chix's mind was so preoccupied thinking about Sunny's appearance, it made Angel cleared her throat a couple of times. Now she just remembered that Sunny's a tom. She got carried away with the conversation she didn't even realize that she forgot to give her Mama a heads up on how Sunny really looks like. She took a deep breath..."Uhmnn...Ma? " she needed to cut the conversation..."Huh? What?" asked Chix. Angel sat on the bed beside her Mama. "I need to tell you something about Sunny..." she said. "What do you mean? We're already talking about her, right? " asked Chix. When suddenly, they heard the doorbell rang. Chix was so excited she got up from the bed, then headed for the door right away. " Wait! I think that's Sunny. Come out right away, okay? We'll wait for you." then Chix rushed outside, leaving Angel open- mouthed. That was so fast. She felt her chest pounding. " Oh my God..." she uttered. She then grabbed her purse and went outside.

Chix was rushing for the door. " Mamu it's okay. Let me open it..It's Sunny. I'm really excited to see her. " she said. Jigs gave her a smile and motioned for her to open the door. "No problem, Mama...Do the honors. " she said. Chix smiled back, and touched her wife's face...Finally, she opened the door...

"HI, AUNTIE CHIX...HOW ARE YOU? I MISSED YOU SO MUCH..." Sunny was emotional the minute she saw Chix, staring at her... She extended her arms, waiting to be hugged. " SUNNY..." that's all Chix could say... Of course, she was surprised seeing a "different Sunny, " from what she have expected, but it didn't matter anymore...She felt like crying. No, she was actually crying while giving Sunny a warm embrace...

"OH MY GOD... I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS..." she was giving Sunny, kisses on the cheek and on the forehead. "LOOK AT YOU...JUST LOOK AT YOU...OH MY... I MISSED YOU TOO..." Chix is now smiling and was looking at Sunny from head to toe...

"SO, UHMNN...THAT IS SUNNY, HUH?" asked Jigs while looking at Angel. Angel is still open mouthed. She gave Jigs a nod. "YEAH, THAT IS SUNNY..." she cleared her throat again. Jigs just shrugged her shoulders, and she gave Angel a smile. "WELL...YOUR MAMA'S SPEECHLESS...LOOK AT HER..." she said. " I KNOW... I FORGOT TO TELL HER ABOUT SUNNY BEING A TOM. " says Angel. "I THINK YOUR MAMA DOESN'T NEED ANYMORE EXPLANATION...OF COURSE SHE KNOWS...SHE CAN SEE THAT..." Jigs said. "I GUESS YOU'RE RIGHT, MAMU...COME ON, SO MAMA CAN INTRODUCE YOU TO HER"...Angel tugged Jigs along...

Chix was still in awe looking at Sunny from head,down..."DO I HAVE A DIRT ON MY FACE?" Sunny asked her. "HUH?" Chix cleared her throat...THAT LINE...HEARING THAT FAMILIAR LINE, MADE HER FEEL MORE EMOTIONAL..." I'M SORRY...IT'S JUST THAT...EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW IS OVERWHELMING...NOW I CAN TELL, WE'RE REALLY AGING BECAUSE...LOOK AT YOU...YOU AND ANGEL...YOU'RE BOTH GROWN UPS...AND UHMNNN...YOU LOOK GREAT...I MEAN...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY..." Finally Chix was back to her senses. She now realized it...SUNNY IS A TOM. And of course, Sunny noticed it. But she's okay...
