The dinner plan

*in apartment * /Alice Pov

So I'm getting ready for this dinner thing to see all the family and crap I was getting ready , when my brother came in ...

"Alise!!" He said np he always said it as 'alise' but I didn't mind he was all I had

"Yes " I replied nicely

"I need help with my tie ! I can't tie it " he said as if it was mission impossible

"Here let me do it" I said as I walked toward him looking at his horrible attempt to tie it

"So you ready to go yet ? You look nice and ready " he asked as I tied his tie

"Umm yeah I just need to put some shoes on ...." I said slowly when I really needed to cover up some scars , I finished tying his tie

"Ok ill meet you in the car , were gunna be late so hurry up " he said as he walked out of my room

I went into the room I had a high low dress with a black leather chest area with a high low ending nude skirt but it was a nice dress , I guess I never really wore dresses. I put on my black original converse and finished my makeup and headed out the door Jeff was already waiting in the car already

*in the car*

"so you ready to meet up with the fam ?" He asked me as his stopped at a red light

"Yeah , I guess I mean It would have been better if mum and dad would have came " I responded

"Alice , you know that they can't come they stay in Aussie and always will ...." He continued to drive as the light changed to green

"Yah , I know ..." I whispered

Jeff was always careful of me but since he's not in high school or collage he doesn't really watch out for me in school , my high school is connected to collage so it's pretty big , I never told him I was bullied I just stayed clammed up , Jeff began to talk and interrupted my thoughts

"Do you know where this dinner is being hosted ?" He asked as he drove around Hollywood for a bit

"Aunt Lisa just said it was in Hollywood , let me text her ..." I said as I took out my phone from my clutch and texted her

" do we even know the people who are gunna be there ?" He asked

" Lisa just said family and close friends " I replied hoping it was only family

"Has she replied ?" He asked eager to get there

"Yup , she said make a left the another left and we should be there " I said

"Ok " he replied , he did as I told him

*they arrive *

Aunt Lisa was already waiting for us outside , Jeff parked the car and we got off . Lisa showed us the way in I recognized some of my family members and some of my parents close friends. I met up with all my cousins , they were really tan except the ones that came from the east like me . We sat down as started our appetizers when I noticed him sitting a couple of tables away from me and he was with his family ....
