I will! I answered back as I gave the hotel staff his tip.

Thank you Ms. Valdez!

The guy quickly went to my side and aimed his celphone to us for a picture. Automatically, a smile came out from my mouth as he eagerly pressed his gadget for a souvenir.

If I have to be honest with myself, I'm really getting tired of doing this. Smiling in front of camera, in the public, during interviews. Even in front of the mirror, whenever I'm convincing myself that this is what I want. Fame and fortune.

It's not that I don't like facing people, I have to anyway, but it's getting more tiring everyday especially if at almost all times, I'm just forcing myself to curve my mouth to form a happy smile. It became a bitter habit, especially when I realized what a stupid decision I had made two years ago.

I chose this.

In exchange of my lifetime with Dennise.

Sana.

And for the nth time, I regret choosing what I thought would really make me happy.

My thoughts were cut off by the jolly voice of the person beside me.

Salamat po Idol! Naku, matutuwa si ineng ko dito!

Salamat din po Mang Jaime, my reply as I looked at his nametag.

Few minutes more and the staff left my room. I just hope he didn't notice that my smile turned sour already due to tiredness and his continuous blabbering about how famous I am in this world.

If only he knew.

As soon as I closed the door, I went straight to bed and planked myself, face down.

I'm dead tired.

Everybody thinks that just because I have fame and fortune, I can have everything. Little did they know that I actually don't have anything. Even sleep.
