Chapter 2-You've got to be kidding me!

-Dragons POV-

I looked at my bestfriend again. She was still not looking at me, instead she found the sandy desert more appealing as we speeded by. At least I hadn't killed the guy! I just pulled him over and knocked him out but I left him water and food and a freaking map! But still she stares out of the window.

"Look, I didn't kill the guy, I just knocked him out! Please forgive me!" I begged her, keeping my eyes on the road. When she turned round she had a bloody great big grin on her face! "What?"

"I don't care about you knocking him out, Drag! God you did him a favour, look at this crap car! Plus you gave him enough supplies to last a month," She laughed. I laughed with her thanking Lady Artemis that she was still on good favours with me. My mind reeled as I thought of our friendship, I had been one of the first to meet her, not at the camp, god no, but when she became a sister, we'd immediately clicked. I let my mind drift to the memory.

"Hi, I'm Dragon, you?" I had said, she'd turned around a little stunned.

"Um, hi Dragon, no offense but why did your parents name you that?"

I laughed. "My parents didn't name me this. I chose it, my true name will be lost forever. Well until I choose to die then it will be revealed but only to the sisters. My parents were stick in the muds, they probably named me something like Gertrude,"

That time she laughed. "That sounds like an awful name! Hm, I get to change my name, huh? I'd like to be called...PHOENIX!"

"What's with the excaliming? And why Phoenix?"

"When I was little, there was a fire at my house, the fire squad got everyone out but me. I had been in my room, listening to music, completely oblivious to the fire raging around me. The firefighters said I must be a Phoenix, the name kinda stuck,"

From then on we stuck together, I realised we had more in common than thought. My young face allowed me to get into numerous high schools throughout America, amoungst the sisterhood though we were known as the troublemakers, Demi and Terra and other earthies  all thought  so! Demi wasn't too bad though.

"Ahem," I snapped my head to Phe, she was pointing out the window to a road sign.

You Are Now In Phoenix!

-Phoenix's POV-

I was so happy when we finally got to a service station. I'd been holding a lot of pee since that exam that never happened. Flushing the toilet, I thought about how I had freaked Drag out then sighed. If she freaked out about this, who knew how much she'd freak out when she knew what I wanted.

What do you want then?

Holy crud! I forgot how we can hear each others thoughts, I was blocking it in the car but I had forgotton now! Hang on, what about our agreement to never listen in on each others thoughts?

Sorry hun but this guy is talking to me about how to regear a motorbike.Yawn. I already know how to do that with my eyes closed! Anyway, you didn't answer my question.

Listen, chica, I can't tell you yet, I'll tell you friday! I call all my close sisters chica, it's a habit, I used to call my old human besties chica too.

Yup! Now rescue me from the boring human!

I chuckled slightly and left the restroom smiling to myself. When it came to men, she usually got a fair share more than me, I didn't really mind because I had a lot of people coming up to me and randomly asking me out.
