a/n: when someone asks me
to remember something
i mentally beat myself up
because I have a tendency
to block out large portions
of my life
...
i cannot remember
my second grade year
because that's when my
parents filed for a
traumatizing divorce
i cannot remember
my fifth grade year
because i witnessed
the death of four
important people in
my life
and i cannot remember
my middle school years
because i was bullied to
the point of attempting
to take my own life
all i do remember is
everyone asking me
why don't you remember?
