reusable, easily broken,
fake, and easily replaced.
this probably why i treat
my step dad so poorly,
because he replaced my
father, and i know that he
can be removed and replaced
just as quickly.
people are just like toys,
and im not the only one that
knows this. my boyfriend
often breaks me without
knowing, and when im
broken, he finds comfort in
a new toy. he finds comfort
in a new drug, and he finds
comfort in a new lie.
people are just like toys,
and god damn, a toy can only
be pulled apart and put back
together so many times.
