Chapter 13

Perrie's POV

When I got home Jonnie answered the door. He knew I'd been to see Jade, and didn't even bother to say hello before asking about her.

"Did you see her? How is she? Did her mam catch you?" He asked.

"Yes, she seems good, and no" I sighed. I loved that my brother approved of my girlfriend and liked her so much, but he really didn't need to worry.

"Some girl came round while you were out, said she was a friend but I've never seen you with her", My brother informed me.

"Did she tell you her name?" I asked absently as I wandered to the kitchen, wanting to make myself a snack. Jonnie followed.

"Yeah, she said it was... Eleanor. Wait, isn't that the girl who outed you and Jade?"

"Yep, that's the bitch" I replied. He laughed slightly. "What did she want?"

"She just said she needed to talk to you about something" he shrugged. "I told her to come back around 6 if she wants, she said she only lives a couple of minutes away".

I sighed. I really didn't want to talk to the girl who caused me and my girlfriend to be constantly teased, stared and laughed at.

"I'll be home when she gets here so she can't try anything" Jonnie reassured me, obviously sensing that I wasn't comfortable being alone with her.

"Thanks" I smiled slightly.

Later that day I was laying on my bed listening to music when i heard a knock at my bedroom door.

"Yeah?" I shouted to the person behind it.

"Perrie? Can I come in?" Eleanor said hesitantly.

"Yeah" I told her, she walked into my room and sat at the end of the bed. "So what do you want?" I asked, not bothering to be polite or engage in small talk. I didn't want to be with this girl for any longer than I had to.

"I'm so sorry about everything I've done over these past few months" She said, looking me in the eye. "I'm sorry for kissing you when you didn't want to. I'm sorry for threatening to tell people about you and Jade. I'm sorry for kissing you when you were too drunk to protest. I'm sorry for causing a fight that got us in trouble. I'm sorry for telling everyone about you and Jade. And I'm sorry for letting my friends treat the two of you how they have" Eleanor told me.

I nodded and sighed. "Well i accept your apology, but you've been a bitch Eleanor" I told her. "I don;t really care about the stuff with me, but you have no idea what Jade's been through with bullying at her old schools, and other stuff too. She was finally at a school where she had a group of friends who accept her, and you had to fuck it up by telling everybody something that they were fucking immature enough to bully her for. And by getting us in trouble you got her grounded, meaning that her mother won't let us fucking see each other, so thanks for that" I remarked sarcastically.

"I'm so sorry" Eleanor said again, looking at me with tears in her eyes. "I just... I was jealous. Of you both, but especially Jade. I had a crush on you for so long, then one day I went to the cinema with my family and I saw you and Jade waiting in line together, holding hands. I found it weird but didn't think much of it, then you kissed, and in that moment I realised the two of you were together. I saw you kissing in school a couple of times after that when you thought no one was around, and holding hands under the desk and stuff. I can't even describe how jealous it made me feel. Not just of the fact that Jade had you, but the fact that you both had someone. I'm just too terrified to tell anyone I like girls like that, you know? I can't imagine myself ever getting someone because I'm so scared" She muttered the part about her liking girls as if she didn't even want me to hear, looking at the floor so her long hair covered her face.

"Hey, it's okay" I told her, sittng up and resting my hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "I get it. I was scared too. I didn't tell anyone I was bi for ages. If people are really your friends they'll support you"

"Thanks. I'm so sorry again" she almost whispered, wiping a tear away. "I don't know how I can really show you how sorry I am, but I'm having a party tomorrow night. You should come. I know Jade isn't allowed out but you could bring Leigh or Jesy or Zayn or someone".

"i'll think about it, it depends if any of them want to go. But I completely accept your apology, and I understand how you feel" I told her.

"Thanks so much" She said, getting up to leave. "I know you're probably busy so I'll go" She smiled, walking towards the door. I got up and pulled her into a hug.

"Good luck" I told her.

"Thanks" she smiled as she pulled back, before leaving my room.
