When I got to California I didn't want to think or know about High School and what I will do. When I got to my Uncle Tyler's house all I could think was what would he be like? His home was a two story building with a big back and front yard, with a white picket fence. As me and Mr.F walked to the door he looked at me.

"You know, if he is too drunk or being stupid give me a call." He handed me his card.

"Sure, I totally wanna pack my bags again and move out of state."

He frowned at me. I rang the doorbell, after a good minute of waiting in silence with Mr.F the door opened.

"Jay? W-Wow you do have your mom's blu-blue eyes." Tyler said be for he hiccuped

"Oh dear lord, you're fucking drunk again. Good luck Jay, I will keep in touch."

"Please don't ." I said as I flipped him the bird as he walked away. As I walked inside my Uncle smiled.

"What's with the creepy smile?" I asked

"He thought I was drunk!" Tyler bursted out laughing," I haven't been drunk since Saturday, away so upstairs is your room and down here is your living room and your kitchen."

"What?" I asked with a stupid face.

"Dude, I'm stupid rich I own the house across from this one, this is your house. I will have the maid restock the kitchen, but you got to take care of the house. Deal?"

"I-I-I...." I stopped to gather my thoughts," Sure!"

"Sweet, here take this" Tyler handed me a phone," You're going to need it and by the way tomorrow we will be going shopping so be ready at ten o'clock sharp. One more thing..." He opened the door to leave," School starts Tuesday for you. I hate Monday's so Tuesday is better." He left before I could thank him.
As I looked around my new house all I could think about the talk with Mr.F about life. Was this a sign? Was life saying sorry? Or was life building me up just to take me down? Didn't know nor wanted to.

I began to walk to my room when the doorbell rang. I put my suitcase on top of the stairs, then rushed down them. I looked though the little hole in the door. It was a girl? I opened the door.

"Hi my name is Tay, and I saw someone finally come in here besides the maid."

"Oh, h-hi." I was nervous, ever since rose dumped me and cheated on my I had trouble getting to know women. " I'm Jay I just moved in starting today."

"Well I just wanted to say hi and welcome to the neighborhood." As she walked away I studied her. She was a red head, seemed uplifting, and dressed to impress. Guessing of that she could be popular or just every nice. Who knows. I closed the door and went back to my suitcase. Picking it up and taking it to my new room . I felt empty inside, like someone threw away my heart and soul. I opened my door to my room. It was a master room, Computer, Gaming consoles, and a king bed with a note on it. "Try getting comfortable tonight, Tomorrow we will shop for cloths, games, and stuff for your room from You Uncle Tyler" I closed the door, let my suitcase go, and threw myself on to the king bed. I began to cry, not of joy but of sadness, I won't be in California if they weren't died, I would be home in Washington, with Mom,Dad, and Ashley. Little did I know that was one of the last nights I cried myself to sleep.
