Chapter 6 They know

Minori's POV

I closed my eyes but nothing came I looked up and saw Akira holding the ghouls hand back with one of her own. She turned her body sideways and turned her head to face me still holding of the ghoul with her right hand, I looked at her eyes and saw that they were glowing red, she put out her left hand signalling me to take it. Then I realised, she's, she's a vampire. But why, why does she have to be one. I grabbed her hand and in a split second we were standing right next to Rikishi she let go of my hand and got into a fighting position and ran towards the ghoul. As she was fighting it I sat there thinking, until I got it, that's why she has no family, that's why she always goes to the gym after school and that's why she can sense things she can't see. I also get why she hid it from me, nobody likes vampires and everywhere they go is death, but no one has died recently and she saved me maybe she's different. I hope.

Akira's POV

Once I let go of minori's hand I got into a fighting position, and I closed my eyes thinking. 'This is it this is what I have been training for I have to protect them even if it's the last thing I do'. I shot open my eyes and ran towards the ghoul with all the rage and hatred I had towards these disgusting supernatural creatures that kill for there own benefit, and how dare they try to kill Minori.

Rikishi's POV

All I saw was anger in her eyes and suddenly her eyes started glowing a really bright red, even in the dark her eyes were like a flashlight. But why, how did I not know this I could sense it a bit but, why. To be honest with that thought in my mind I started to cry. Inside I knew Minori felt the same because we both became friends with the exact species of supernatural creatures that our, no all creatures despise.

Akira's POV

As I was blocking the first hit I smelled salt I turned around to see rikishi crying, and I think I know why it's because of what I am, 'I'm so sorry but after this I will leave you won't see me again and I will just be a forgotten memory' with that thought I let one tear slip from my eye.

"Ow, how sad is that the big bad vampire is sad because he friends hate her, well why are you shocked you are hated in both worlds so why have any friends" I heard the ghoul say. I glared at him and I could tell Rikishi and Minori looked up as well.

Suddenly I lost focus and his left arm slammed me into the wall making a big dent. "Ahhhhhhhhhh" I yelled as I was getting crushed.

"Your so pathetic, because of that I will kill your friends so you don't have to let them watch you die" with that he started walking towards Minori and Rikishi. I can't let them die I can't.

"Don't touch them" I said getting of the ground "huh, like you can stop me, look at you, you barley can move" he said laughing his head off.

"If you touch them I will kill you" with that said my hair turned red.

Normal POV

Akira stood there head down with the ghoul in front of her growling. The ghoul took the first hit swinging his arm at her. Akira lifted her arm and stop him from even touching her. The ghoul shocked at what she just did and just looked at the girl, Akira lifted her head up with her fringe covering her face, and a smirk plastered across her face.

Akira still holding onto the beasts hand threw him backwards making him land on his back whining. Akira still standing there looking at him with a smirk on her face. The ghoul got up furious and started to run towards her but Akira kept dodging with ease, Akira was getting annoyed so the next hit he tried to make was heading for her back, just in time Akira did a backflip kicking the ghoul straight in the head making another big dent but on the floor, when Akira landed she turned around lifted the ghouls head up and punched him straight in the face sending him flying down the hall and crashing into the lockers in the opposite direction as Akira, Minori and Rikishi.
