I lay in my bed, feeling terrible and wishing for health. I have my headphones in my ears, blasting Me, Myself, and I. I want to go outside and do something, not sit here sick and miserable. It's been 4 days and I feel a little better, but I'm far from healthy. I hop into the shower, putting on the cold water. It feels good on my hot, feverish skin. I wash my hair as I jam to my playlist. I currently have I Took A Pill in Ibiza at full volume. What? I'm home alone. Teresa went to Becky's house and Aunt Pat is at the store. As I hop out of the shower, I pull my hair into my towel. I choose some sweatpants and a t-shirt. My sickness is making my tired, so I hop into my comfy bed and sleep for a little longer.
<Wendy's dream>
I watch as I walk into a restaurant. I walk over to a guy who looks like he's my age.
"Hey Wendy," he says.
"Hi," I say back.
"Let's sit," he pulls out my chair. I sit.
"So, you excited for school to start soon?" He says to me.
"Oh of course, so I can sit in a hot classroom taking notes," I reply sarcastically.
"Haha. Yeah I figured as much," he says. "So what are you getting this time?" This time? I've never been here, I think as I watch the scene.
"I'll get a classic chicken noodle soup," I say.
"You're aunt does make the best chicken noodle soup"
<End of Dream>
I wake up, confused about the dream I had. It was like I lived here. Huh. But I can't be. I love New York. I wouldn't move here no matter how much I like Georgia. I fall back asleep, confused and still tired.
