I woke up feeling much better, so I go to the store to get some things for Aunt Pat. I look at the list she gave me
Noodles
Pesto Sauce
Broccoli
Pasta Sauce
Chicken
Chicken Broth
ShrimpThat should be easy enough. I take a shopping cart and start heading to the noodle aisle.
I pick up some angel hair then head over to the
chicken aisle.I'm not sure what kind to get, so I ask someone nearby who looks my age.
"Excuse me? Do you know what brand of chicken I should get?" I ask her
"Here you go," she says and points to one. "Hey, are you from Turnberry High School? You don't look familiar," she asks.
"Oh I don't live here. I'm visiting my aunt and cousin," I say.
"From where?" She asks.
"New York City," I reply. And we talk for hours after this. I finally just ask for her number and name because I need to finish shopping.
"My name is Abby Wilde," she tells me.
"I'm Wendy Green," I reply. We exchange numbers and I continue my shopping. As well as stuff on the list, I grab gum, soda, and Cheeto's. I head home and give Aunt Pat her groceries. I take my bag of stuff up to my room.
Aunt Pat and Teresa have a pool, so I ask if I can invite Abby (who goes to Teresa's school) over to swim. Aunt Pat says yes. When Abby arrives, I go get the door.
"Hey Abby!" I say
"Hi Wendy," she replies. Then Teresa comes over to smile and wave. We head to the pool and all jump in.I cannonball and purposefully hit Teresa. She glares at me and I smile. I grab us sodas and we swim in the pool for a while.
After dinner, which was spaghetti, we hung out in my room until her mom came and picked her up. Then, I ate Cheeto's and hung out till I was exhausted. I got ready for bed and fell onto my bed, ready to sleep.
