"Hey, Wendy, I've been wondering why you're staying with your Aunt. Why are you staying with her?" Abby asks.
"Oh well my mom and her boyfriend are going on a summer getaway," I tell her.
"Why can't your dad take you?"
"Oh right I didn't tell you." I sigh. "He died a while ago," I tell her.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She says.
"Don't. *cue Bryson Tiller* I don't like when people apologize for that," I say.
"Ok, next topic then," she replies, ending that conversation.
