Chapter 2

"Austin! Come on!", I yelled.

The brown haired hazel eyed boy smiled and nodded as he proceeded to run down the street to me. The boy? That's Austin. My best friend other than Sybree, BethAnne, Logan, Missy, and Debbie. That doesn't eve count my guy friends, Alex, Zach, Robert and Keaton. But Austin....He was different. He was special. He was my crush.

Yeah I know. It's the typical "girl next door" thing that Taylor Swift always talks about. Where the guy is friends with you and that's it. It kinda sucks. But for the most part I'm glad Austin and I have been able to keep such a close friendship. He is perfect though. Just everything about him is. His smile is amazing and it feels so welcoming. His hazel eyes could stare into yours into yours for days and you would never want to look away. His hair was slightly curly and he always kept it stuffed under his flat or beanies. His style wasn't like other guys and I kinda loved that about him. Alot of people got on him about his earrings because apparently only black guys wear stuff that like that. His body was fit and strong from continuous workout for basketball.

#74, Austin Mahone the star of the Middle cat high school basketball team. Every girl loved him which of coarse made me super jealous. But he hasn't had a girlfriend since his crazy ex, Taylor Rafford. (Ugh, was she annoying.) I don't know what he's waiting for . He probably thinks he doesn't deserve to be in a relationship. Part of me still thinks he feels guilty for dumping Taylor. I hope he knows he really shouldn't. I just want him to be happy no matter who he's with (even if it's crazy ex Taylor).

I currently have a boyfriend which probably sounds really crazy since I'm so madly in love with Austin. Justin, my boyfriend, I guess was like a rebound for me. With me having no chance with Austin, I had to find someone right? Justin was a great guy anyways. He was tall, skinny guy with bright blue eyes and black hair slicked to the side. He was really smart with not much of a sense of humor. He was on the debate team at school which made him....uh....errr....interesting...you could...say.

"Are you cold?", I asked Austin once he finally caught up to me.

I laughed as he shivered and told me he was perfectly fine. Once we got to the mall, I grabbed his hand and pulled him to BethAnne's booth in the middle of the mall.

BethAnne had been my best friend since 1st grade when she moved to town. I guess something just clicked because we're still best friends. BethAnne was one of the most gorgeous girls I knew. Her long brown hair coiled to about mid-back and her eyes were bright pools of blue. She is a black belt in tae kwon do and she'll kick anybody's butt for you at anytime. She had her sporty side but at the same time she is a fashionista and knows everything there is to know about what to wear and what not to wear.

BethAnne was hopelessly in love with Zach Dorsey, the hottie who was also my best friend and hers. Zach is 6'2' which fit perfectly for BethAnne's total height of a whopping 5'3'. He was a pure blonde with sparkling blue eyes that would make any girl's heart melt in a instant. He was just one of those hilarious kind of guys who never smiled in pictures.

"BethAnne!", I exclaimed running towards her.

"Ah! Annie!", She screamed as we embraced each other into our arms.

"Did you save me that necklace?", I asked.

"Of coarse! It's perfect for her!", She said holding out the necklace to me.

Sybree had pointed this necklace out to me months ago but at the time she couldn't afford it. The necklace was a heart locket with the British flag rhinstoned on it expressing her love for One Direction. And it hid a secret meaning to the one and only Alex Constancio. Sybree couldn't be more in love. When I first introduced them, Sybree never stopped talking about him but would never admit she liked him. She's going to try to ask him out to the winter formal this year if he doesn't first.
