Jessica's POV

I pushed a strand of my brown hair behind my ear as Spiderman, Miles, Iron-Spider and I were on patrol. We were currently trying to track Vulture aka Adrian Toomes, so we could recruit him before Ock does. I may have a small crush on him.

Anyways, after about 20 minutes of nothing we decided to split up. I used my powers to get across town quicker and finally made it to Midtown. Everything was pretty quiet actually. A few car sand people here and there but not to much commotion.

Deciding to get a better view I perched myself on the ledge of a building next to a bird like gargoyle. Sighing I looked around the area from above, still nothing. "Well, this is boring," I muttered to myself. "I wonder if the guys had any luck," I added, still to myself. "Why are you talking to yourself? ," A new voice asked. I looked up startled at the sudden voice and blinked. There, sitting right next to me where the gargoyle bird was, was Adrian Toomes. I stared at him for s moment even though he wasn't looking at me. "I wasn't talking to myself... I was... Thinking out loud," I defended myself. I felt my cheeks heat up and closed my eyes for a moment to try and calm myself down. I opened my eyes again to find him looking at me, but when I caught his gaze he quickly averted his gaze, gaining a slight blush of his own0n. I was about to ask him something but my communicator cut me off. "Jess, you still alive?," Miles asked on the other line. I brought my watch up to my mouth to respond. "Yeah Miles, I'm still alive," I responded. After a brief conversation with him I turned back to Adrian. "You should come join the academy," I offered. He glanced at me then looked away again shaking hid head. "I can't, " He stated simply. I decided not to pry. After a few more minutes of talking and some silence I left to join the others at base as I thought, ' I just survived 20 minutes with my crush, how cool is that? I wonder if he likes me back,'

Meanwhile Adrian thought the same about her.

I know it's not that good and it's really short but Adrian is harder to write to me for some reason, but I hoped you liked it!
