Mary bit her lip as she found herself looking at Ben aka Scarlet Spider again. Peter had sent them on patrol together, knowing of her small crush on him. So now the two were perched on the ledge of a building watching the ground below for any criminal activity. So far their wasn't any, so they were just sitting there in an awkward silence.

That is until Scarlet spoke up. "So... How did you end up with Ock?," He asked still looking straight. Mary looked at him, and hesitated. She didn't really like talking about her past, the only people she told were Aunt May, Peter and his close friends on the team. But, she could trust him right? If Peter did, so could she. "He created me," She simply stated. Scarlet looked at her this time. "He what? I thought you were Peter's sister," He said. Mary shook her head. "I'm his clone, he didn't make me male because of the lack of DNA from ," She explained. Ben nodded. Since no one was around they both took off their masks. "Then how did you get out?," He asked. This time she didn't hesitate, she felt comfortable with him. "Well, I became... Very curious with myself and when he wasn't around I went through his file he had of me and found out why he created me, so after that I escaped and Peter found me through our telepathic bond we have and took me in. Now I'm here," She explained. Ben nodded. He was about to say something else but Peter appeared and cut him off. "Mary, aunt May wants us to be home early for dinner," He said. Mary nodded and said goodbye to Ben, then followed Peter home leaving Ben to sit and think about their conversation. Maybe they weren't so different after all.
