Pool And Kisses

Nora's POV

I sigh, its been pretty boring today. No missions or anything interesting to do, no one even wanted to play cards! Ugh. I huff and continued walking. I was basically just walking around base until I found something remotely entertaining. Maybe Flash was around? Hmm.

I make my way to the 'recreation' room. There wasn't much, just a pool table and air hockey. But sure enough, Flash was there. Playing pool by himself. He didn't seem to mind being alone though. I didn't realize I was staring until he called my name. "Hey, Nora. Didn't know you were standing there," He smiles and I nearly melt. 'Keep it together, Nora' I mentally scold myself. I smile. "Yeah, m-mind if I join?," I stutter. Oh Gosh. "Sure," He says. I don't think he notice, phew, I'm good. I walk over and grab a pole.

After a quick game, now where just hanging around. Me sitting on the edge of the pool table, him standing next to me. We were talking about random things, like our families, school, missions, stuff like that. I found myself blushing a lot more than I intended to, so every time I did, I looked down. He must've figured me out because when I looked up he was frowning. "What?," I ask. "Why do you do that?," He asks. I look down again. "Do what?," I ask. He puts his hand under my chin and gently tips it up, so I'm looking at him. 'Holy Cheese Balls' I think. "That," He says. He's so close that I could feel his breath on my cheeks. I could just kiss him. He chuckles. Did I just say that out loud? "Yeah, you did," My eyes widen and before I could say anything, his lips are on mine.

Well... That was a lot better than playing cards.

I know, its super short and probably bad. But hey, I'm alive! I haven't updated in forever, which I will explain in the next chapter.
