Flashback

Six Months Ago

Twins Harmony Parker and Peter Parker were playing outside. It was snowing out and since Harmony could control ice and snow things got interesting. She made snow balls and the part of the yard they were on into a mini ice rink, they were having a great time. That is until things took a wrong turn. One minute they were having a regular snow ball fight, the next minute a snow ball knocks Harmony off balance and she blasts Peter in the back of the head. Knocking him out cold.

Present Time

Harmony's Point Of View

Remembering that moment made tears come to my eyes and roll down my cold flushed cheeks. My room had icicles on the ceiling and snow flakes floated everywhere. I just sat curled on my seat next to the windowsill looking out of the frost covered window. I pushed everyone away. My aunt May, Peter, my best friends, and most of all my crush Danny Rand. I've wanted to tell him I loved him but after all of this I'm pretty sure everyone including him thinks I'm dangerous. I pushed my purple bangs out of my eyes and put a strand of hair behind my ear. There was a hesitant knock at my door, but I didn't move from my spot or say a word. "H-Harmony? It's Peter. Um, D-Danny's here and he wants to see you... if you're up to it," Peter said quietly. Peter. God I missed him so much. I wanted to open the door and just hug him to death. But I couldn't, I just didn't want to hurt him anymore. I heard him walk back down the stairs but then another person walked up. I didn't want to see anyone, why can't they just leave me alone? I then started to sing the song 'Safe and Sound' by Taylor Swift softly to myself.

The snow flakes started to calm slightly. But then the door opened and shut behind someone. Shoot, I must've left the door unlock when I got food last night. Aunt May puts food outside my door every day and I bring it in when no one is around. I stopped singing and turned around. My eyes landed on none other than Danny Rand. He slowly walked over to me and the snow flakes in the room start to float a little more rapidly. I was afraid. I love him, I don't want to hurt him like I did Peter! I moved away from him as he stood near me and tried to touch me. "S-stay away from me, Danny! I don't want to hurt you," I whispered the last part. I moved back and my back hit the wall. I was cornered. He pulled me to him in one swift motion and pressed his lips to mine. Instantly all of the snow flakes on the room stilled and fell to the ground. Once he pulled away he nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck and i felt something wet. Tears. "Please don't shut us out. Don't shut me out. I love you, just please... let me love you," He whispered. I smiled through tears and wrapped my arms around him. "I love you too,"
