I began to panic inside. I can not get that thought out of my head. I never check guys out. Especially not guys who are like Zeke Anderson. I glanced down at the hand that was all bandaged up on my lap. That's like the nicest thing he's ever done to me.

More like the only nice thing he's done.

I brought my good hand up to my hair and ran my fingers through it. I grabbed my phone out of his hand when I remembered that he still had my phone. I unlocked the screen and entered into the Wattpad app. I went into my library and clicked on Rejecting the Alpha.

I sat there staring at the screen waiting for it to load, hoping that I wouldn't need internet for it. When the story popped up, I pumped my fist in the air. "Yes!" I exclaimed with a huge smile.

Zeke rose his eyebrow and leaned over to look at my phone. "Why are you reading during a time like this?" he asked.

"Why are you annoying at a time like this?" I shot back.

He shook his head and bit his lip, trying to hold in a snide remark. "See I always knew you were a nerd, reading when we're in a situation where we could possibly die."

I rolled my eyes at him. "We were playing 20 questions earlier. This is no different except there would be a less chance of getting caught since we won't be talking."

He crossed his arms across his chest and glared at me. "Don't be smart with me." he warned me, pointing his index at me.

I slapped his hand away. "Like I said yesterday, don't point those things at me. Who knows where they've been." Then I smirked, "And let me guess, if I acted smart would it just make you look dumb?"

His eyes darkened and before I knew it, his body was on top of mine, straddling me. My back was pressed against the cold, tiled, linoleum floor. The palms of his hands were on the floor by my hand, trapping me between them.

His face mere inches away. He was so close that I could feel his heart beat against his chest. It was beating fast. Why? I have no clue. His breath fanned my face. "I told you not be smart." His voice was deadly and his whole facade screamed danger. But it didn't faze me at all.

"What? You want me to act dumb?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow. I was surprised at how confident I sounded. The feeling of his body against mine didn't affect me.

"That would be preferred." he grinned.

"So you want me to act like you?" I teased with a cocked eyebrow.

He forced his body down onto mine a little harder. "What was that, freak?" he gritted out. I knew he wasn't angry, just playing around. So I didn't feel intimidated by him at all. He lowered his face so that his nose was lightly grazing my neck.

What the hell is he doing?

"What are you doing?" I asked, my voice shaking a little bit.

"Getting you back for calling me dumb." he replied. His hot breath fanned my sensitive skin, sending shivers down my spine. I felt my toes curl in my shoes.

"Why?"

"Is it working?" He slowly moved his lower abdomen. What is this feeling? I've never felt it before. Is this what those characters in Wattpad stories feel? I tried pushing him off of me but he was too heavy and wouldn't budge.

I squirmed underneath him. He pulled back and stared at me in the eyes. His eyes looked different then they normally did. They were darker than normal. Is that the way characters from Wattpad stories described it. Lust?
