Chapter 6: Jasmine

Jasmine's POV

Why does everyone like Jessie. I mean I'm way better than her. She has to have a secret. SHE HAS TO!

My life is so perfect like my parents own the most successful business in the world, my dad makes movies on top of that, and I am the favorite child of 10 why wouldn't anyone like me?

One day I decided to see that secret of Jessie's so I followed her home. She got home and someone named Marissa started to beat her.

Here's why, "Why are you so late from school?" asked the woman named Marissa.

"Sorry Marissa. I had to ask the teacher something. Why do you care anyway you hate me!" Jessie started yelling at Marissa.

Marissa got out a belt and started beating her... I mean Jessie was crying and screaming for her to stop.

"This is the only fun I get to have so I think I'll have some more fun!"she yelled beating Jessie even harder.

"My boyfriend is coming over tonight so be ready!" Marissa yelled and I started to run away.

I will never say anything about that at school but she does have a real secret.

Jessie's POV

Marissa beat me today and just as she said that her boyfriend was coming over tonight I heard something in the bushes and saw Jasmine.

"Did you hear me you little brat! Do I need to beat you again?!" she asked.

"N-" but before I could answer she started. "STOP! PLEASE STOP I'LL DO ANYTHING!" I yelled tears running down my face.

She started thinking about what I was going to do. Then Marissa had an idea, "You are going to be me and Mike's waiter tonight. Then when we're done eating we're going to beat you and his daughter for fun. I know he beats her too!" she said all happy.

LATER THAT NIGHT...

"They're here!" Marissa yelled jumping up and down.

"Hey honey!" yelled Mike as he walked in giving her a kiss. "And I see you have your little brat too! This is going to be one fun night!" he said getting a horrible smile on his ugly face.

After dinner the "fun" started.

"Brats sit down right there!" Marissa yelled at me and Jamie (Mike's daughter). She gave Mike a kiss and said, "Let the fun begin!"

With that said they both started beating us. They laughed every time we screamed, and the louder the harder they laughed.

After about 1 hour of beating only on the back (so it wouldn't be noticed in public). I had to go to bed.

I was so tired from that night to remember with Jessica and James.

When I walked in school I couldn't breathe. Jasmine knew why and told a teacher.

They called 911 and next thing I know I'm in the back of an ambulance.

Marissa comes to the hospital to act like a caring step mother.

Then the doctor comes in, "I have good news and bad news. The good news is she'll live. The bad news is someone beat your step daughter. Do you know who did this?" asked the doctor with a police officer ready to go on a search.

I shook my head yes. "Who is it honey?" asked the police officer.

I pointed to Marissa, she got arrested and so did Mike.

I ended up moving in with Jessica and her mom adopted me. Jessica was right there was no mother daughter bonding time.
