Chapter 5: Jessie's Life

Jessie's POV

I don't know where I'm going to take Jessica for a night that's she's never going to forget.

I don't want her to know my past even though I know her past. James knows mine but I don't want anyone else to know.

When I was born my mom died. My dad left me behind when I was 12. My life has never been perfect. My dad got married and his wife has pretty much been my mom.

My step mom doesn't really like me. She says she can't wait until I'm 18. She says she hates me.

Her name is Marissa. Marissa smacks me for no reason and it's horrible. The only fun I have is when I break into somewhere or go alone.

I was arrested 10 times last year. 12 times the year before. Every time Marissa finds out that I went to jail she smacks me. I'm an only child, well I have an older brother that doesn't even know I exist.

I want adopted and Marissa to be arrested really bad. I had a boyfriend who's name is Michael but that's over now. I don't really have anyone who cares about me except James.

People think my life is GREAT but it's not even close to GREAT. Sometimes I wonder how can I put up with this stuff.

Sorry for the short chapter and I know I said I wasn't going to publish again until 35 reads but oh whale! I won't do another chapter until 40 reads so tell your friends! But thanks for the 30 I have!
