Jessica's POV

I told my mom I had made a friend and was staying over her house which was partially true. I was really going over her house then going to "a friend's house".

After school I talked to my mom, "Mom I made a friend and-"

"That's great sweety!" she said maybe being a little to excited.

"... Anyway I want to go over her house. Please mom!" I said praying she said yes.

"Sweety you can go," she acted like I knew she was going to say yes.

"Can I please stay the night?" I asked hoping that she said yes too.

"Yes. You better get packing then," she said smiling so big.

I went Jessie's house later that day so we could go to that "friend's" house.

As we were riding our bikes to go get James she asked me out of the blue she asked me, "What made you want to do this?"

I couldn't figure out what she meant for a couple of seconds to figure out what she was asking.

"Well, my dad died when I was like two. My mom has been struggling to afford the house and car all alone. She just didn't have time to do normal mother daughter things. I felt unimportant and then Jasmine started with her drama and it went downhill from there," I said feeling ready to cry.

By the time I was done Jessie was crying and we were almost at James' house.

James' POV

When I got my bike out of the garage I saw both of the girls crying.

"What's wrong now?" I asked.

"Nothing!" they both yelled at me like I was stupid.

We were quiet the rest of the way to Walmart.

Once we got to Walmart Jessica asked, "What are we here for?"

"That's a good question," I asked.

We ran through the store to buy a fish.

"What is that for?" Jessica asked.

"You'll see," I said smiling. I actually think she is cute and seems like a good person.

Jessie's POV

I had no idea what I was going to do to give Jessica a night that will make her want to live.

I've always wanted a fish so what the heck I got one.

I thought of the first place I could think of, "We're off to... the Olympic Fun Center!"

Jessica almost made me want to cry when she asked this, "What is the Olympic Fun Center?"

"You've never been there?" James asked seeming as surprised as I was.

She shook her head no and we started going to the Olympic Fun Center.

Once we got in Jessica's eyes got so big it wasn't even funny.

"OFF TO SKATING!" I yelled. We skated climbed the rock wall and then ate some pizza.

Jessica's POV

I have never been skating before in my life so I was HORRIBLE. But it was REALLY fun. Jessie said we are going to a late night Kennywood special.

Jessie's POV

There was no Kennywood late night special I just had to say that so we could break in.

We got to the highest spot I could think of so we could see the sunset. It was beautiful. I wasn't supposed to but I over heard something.

"Jessica I have something to ask you," James said. I think I knew what he meant but I had to make sure.

"Sure. What is it?" asked Jessica.

"I like you Jessica. You're cute, smart, kind, and funny. What I'm trying to say is, will you go out with me?" James asked and I was so right. I was having a mini party.

"I've never been asked out before or even noticed by a boy before. So YES!" she yelled giving him a hug then he kissed her.

I couldn't help myself I squealed, then Jessica squealed.

"Hey! You! Stay there!" yelled some guy pointing a flashlight at our faces.

"RUN!" I yelled pulling Jessica.

"Gotcha!" yelled another police officer. This time we were actually caught.

We got put in the back of a cop car then interrogated on the way to the police station.

"What were you kids doing out there?!" yelled the police officer.

"We just wanted to have some fun. It was my idea don't blame them!" I yelled not wanted Jessica to get in trouble.

"You guys could of gotten killed! Three people have been killed doing these stupid things!" his face was bright red.

We are sitting down in front of a desk waiting for someone.

Jessica's POV

I was scared and ready to cry.

This guy came in he had a mustache and started to talk to us, "We're going to have to talk to your parents."

I started to cry.
